I hired Jose to replace a bathroom fan and vent it to the outside. All went okay, at least that's what I thought. I'm having insulation work done now, and one of the first things they told me was that the duct from the fan was just lying in the attic. It had been attached to the roof vent with regular duct tape, which I'm told was the wrong way to do it and mastic tape should have been used instead. Since one of my main goals was to vent that fan to the outside I'm revising my original review.

such great service...we reached out to 7 handyman service companies and Jose was the ONLY one to reply.
needed a dishwasher hose clean and new hinges/re-hanging of a door at our duplex and although it was a bit pricier than I would have liked, I was glad he could get this done quickly and without any issues...it was well worth paying a little extra as he was efficient, easy to work with, and got the job done!

Jose lives in my building and I had a pipe burst in my bathroom connected to the toilet. He literally saved the day- knew where to shut off the water and drove to three different Home Depots to find parts to fixe the pipe.. Meanwhile maintenance only takes messages (*you cannot talk to a real person they will call you when they hear your message) and after leaving over 5 messages all with priority/urgent claims after two hours I have not heard back. Jose literally saved my apartment from being completely flooded, and did not ask for anything in return. I asked where he worked / how he knew to fix this and that's how I found him on Yelp. He also told me what I needed to know to deal with management and maintenance whenever they decide to show up. I can't thank him enough!

I'm sharing how good these guys are while hoping that they won't get so booked up that they'll never have time for me again.

It's ridiculous, but the last place I thought to look for a handyman was right here on Yelp. *Forehead slap*. I hired several handymen using Thumbtack and Angie's list over the past few years but all disappointed for various reasons.

This father and son duo charge by the project, not by the hour, but they are thorough, efficient and won't stop until they've got things sorted out just right. I had a laundry list of things that needed fixing as long as your arm and they made quick work of it.

Their pricing was fair and they provided me with a carefully prepared list of each item and what materials I was responsible for as well as which materials they would supply.

We got off to a rocky start when they showed up for our first appointment one hour late, but that was never repeated.

Some things they accomplished:
- Seal deck
- weatherstripping doors (elegant solution, too)
- Drywall and painting
- plumbing repairs
- Kitchen drawer rail repair

Great service and hard working. Did work efficiently and in good time. Friendly team. Would recommend for different tasks. We had doors removed and new doors hung, mulch in our front and back yard beds and around trees, cut and trimmed bushes trees, removed carpet from tile, and helped with heavy lifting of items in home. Reasonable priced.

Jose and his team were very professional. They showed up on time and checked in with me along the way to make sure things were progressing as I wanted them to. Jose did a great job of keeping in touch with me via phone call and text and they were really good about making sure they left the house locked and secure. They did a couple of different jobs for me around the house including installing recessed lighting and installing two completely new windows in a wall that had a very small window. They did excellent work. You won't be disappointed if you hire this team of people.
