We've used Rankin electric twice in the past few years and received excellent service both times. The service technicians we've had out completed the job with attention to detail and displayed clear pride in their work. And they always do a good job cleaning up after themselves. Most recently, the company and technician were patient with me as I had a number of small jobs around the house and I wasn't sure what would fit in my budget. The service technician, Julian, took his time when he came to quote the job and asked a lot of questions to make sure he understood what I wanted and why. I highly recommend Rankin Electric to anyone looking to have electrical work done.

By far the best and most reasonable electrician I have ever hired. When I called to make an appointment with a list; Fan replacement, fixing various outlets and switches, replacing 2 light fixtures, etc. I was told there was a flat fee per hour which I found to be reasonable. He showed up on time wearing a mask. He got to work immediately. He asked if there was anything else. No up-charges, ho hidden fees. The job took 3.25 hours and that is what he charged. I will only use this company for electrical work. Great Job!

I called for an appointment today (Thursday at just before 1 pm). They didn't have an appointment until Monday. The nice lady who answered the phone said she would add me to a list so that someone could come sooner if time allowed. They called at 1348 hours and advised they could come fix our issue.
Joby (I think was his name) showed up and was super nice. He explained all the possibilities that could be causing our issue. He told me everything he was doing, as he went through the process-which I appreciated.
He had the power back on and the issue resolved in less than an hour.
Super nice. Super courteous and very professional.

Oh! And it didn't cost an arm and a leg. VERY reasonably priced.
Thank you for the same-day service. We will recommend and use again (if need-be).

I called for a last minute appointment and Cindy (a very pleasant person) contacted me right away to schedule a tech to come in 2 days. Soon after Randy called to say he had a tech available that happened to be in the neighborhood today! Brian came (with his mask) and did a very good job. He was such a gentleman. Thank you Rankin Electric for being so accommodating and a pleasure to do business with.

My husband and I had Rankin come out to handle a couple of electrical issues. Brian the technician was outstanding! He showed up timely, took care of both problems promptly and did a great job explaining both procedures to us. Great experience! Had a couple outlets that weren't working and needed an old smoke alarm removed. This was considered trouble shooting since I wasn't sure what needed to be done. Very reasonable base price to come out (For 1 hour) and take a look compared to other companies I called (cheapest one). It was a super simple fix so I asked if he could change a couple of the outlets out since I was paying for an hour and he changed 7 outlets for me and removed the old smoke alarm!

5 stars!! We have used Rankin twice, and received at least 5 star service. Today our electrician fixed multiple electric issues (install dimmer switch, fix two outlets not working, and straighten three outlets against new back splash tiling) within one hour! Every time I speak to the woman who answers the phone, she is always rude. When you work in customer service, you should at least try to have a good attitude about it.
