RAM Electric & HVAC, LLC came to the quick rescue yesterday as our air conditioning unit stopped working and the temperatures were rising.

I utilized RAM Electric for my HVAC repair at the selection of my home warranty company. I've spent the past 8 months, and between myself and the warranty company $1,400 for ""repairs"" that did not fix my unit. For the second repair, I told them that I wouldn't pay for the claim because I felt that they hadn't repaired it properly the first time, so they billed my warranty company the price of the deductible and did not charge me or leave me a receipt. My warranty company was aware and gracious enough to allow this for my unit. The third time that the company came out, for the same problem, was when they informed me that the service man who had been working on my unit was not their ""HVAC specialist"" and he did not know what further to do for the unit. The specialist came out, gave an $800 diagnosis and, like the first serviceman and manager, attempted to have me say ""this is a new problem"" so that they could put a THIRD claim in for my insurance company, which I soon found out they did without my permission. Throughout this entire 8 month process, I've called and left voicemails without response. The past two months they've stopped answering my cell phone calls all-together so I have to call from a different number to get them to answer. They say they haven't received voicemails from me. They stopped answering my home warranty company's calls.
I selected my own company, and within 30 minutes, for only $190, the serviceman repaired the problem that I've had with this unit for 8 months.
I was informed that the $800 part recommended to me was not necessary and never should have been suggested.
Used this service a couple of times to help keep our old AC unit going. Very helpful. When we finally accepted that it was time for a new, more efficient one, they installed it quickly. Also, no one made me feel bad about all of my questions. Very polite, but more importantly, the work was done quickly and I didn't have to call anyone back after it was done. It was done right THE FIRST TIME.
