This company is a JOKE! I have been on the schedule since last Wednesday 10-2 to have my generator fixed. My appointment was scheduled for 10-9, no one showed up and I just received a call telling me they are closed today due to the anticipated weather. And IF they are working tomorrow I will be added to a list. Are you kidding me?! I will never recommend this company!
Avoid company, total scam. Horrible service. It takes me multiple email and call attempts to receive a response and still do not have any updates on my deposit payment which they've been holding for 9 months. I have not received my product or services and it is nearly impossible to get an answer from them. They route me to different person every time who responds one time saying they will look into it then never hear back no matter how many attempts I make to reach them. Total scam

I had no issues when the home generator was installed. But the service is horrible. Calls and electronic requests have not been responded to in 30 days after numerous messages.
Customer service manager ducked into a meeting early to avoid a call today. It's a shame. I need high voltage run, solar panels for my 2 Teslas and wanted to stay with a local company.
I'm sure I can find a company that wants this business.

I got my generator installed 2 years ago. It cost me $25,000.00. The salesman, Wayne Lang, and the install team were amazing. Six months ago, I got a call from Rack telling me I needed a surge protector for my generator and it would be $350. At first I said, ""yes of course!"" But soon after I thought about it and wondered why a surge protector wouldn't have been installed with the generator which was installed to provide power in an outage. Wouldn't you protect the alternative power source you are installing in case of an outage with a device that protects it from a power surge which happens often during a storm, thus needing the generator?
I've been calling Rack Electric to find out the answer for the last 6 months. No call back. I went to their office and asked to talk to someone. No one was there and no one called as they promised. I asked to talk to the owner whom I have met, no call. Would I recommend Rack Electric? No. Does this seem SHADY? YES.
had my maintenance service after a year of installation. right after the rack electric service; my generator stopped working. it's been almost 2 months now waiting for the part to arrive . every time their service guy comes brings an excuse not to install it. they sit in the car and leave after almost 2 hours. i am not really happy with this company.
when i email or call them for these issues; i kept getting forwarded to multiple people and at the end nothing!!!!! their service is sub optimal.
Rack Electric took over 1 Stop Generator recently. I have used 1 Stop Generator for years without any issues. That is why I have been such a loyal customer. Unfortunately, Rack Electric does not give the same customer service. I had to make multiple phone calls to the office in order to get an appointment. The office staff seem lost and have no idea what they are doing. The appointment date came and went and I never received a phone call or an email as promised. When I called for a 4th time to follow up, the representative was rude and just wanted to argue. Someone had come out to look at my generator but did not contact me. The scary part is the electric to generator needed to be turned off, and in order to do that, the person would need access to my garage. The garage was locked. Obviously, this company doesn't have a clue. I am disappointed in this whole process. But I will say one thing, Rack Electric just lost my business.
Debbie K.I signed up for a generator maintenance agreement. My first appointment I had to wait 2 months for. Monday was my scheduled day. I also had a problem with my generator that same day. Nobody showed up and when I called they said they moved me to the 17th of July. Why would they not call me and tell me they were not coming???? Then they sent someone out Tuesday to ""fix"" my generator. The guy who came out said that he didn't have the right equipment to handle the job.. Why would they not be equipped with the right equipment?? He was the ""fixer"" guy!! Its Thursday and I have made repeated calls to them with no call back. Meanwhile my generator is shut down. RIDICULOUS !
My son called them 2 months ago about getting a generator.. the install guy has left him handing for 3 weeks with no calls or emails... How are they still in business????
this is absolutely the worst company I've ever dealt with in my 11 years in Martin county. They overcharge, they don't return phone calls. I could go on and on. if I could give them zero stars I would.
worst customer service in any industry. They don't call back, do not answer when you call them. DO NOT BUY A GENERATOR from this company.
