Disappointed in the customer service and pricing this company provides. Got an estimate from the owner, Mike, for changing out outlets and light switches (from Decora to toggle and replacing some with timers and dimmers - about 60 total give or take). Original estimate came in at $1120. Ended up agreeing to $970 estimate based off of the expert owner's estimate of work. After the two employees completed their work which was two guys 3 hours each or 6 work hours for both (breakdown is pricing from the company: $125 first hour, $95 for next two hours total of $315 each), so the total without tax was $630 which ends up being $340 less than $970 (agreed estimate) and $490 from the original estimate of $1120. Mike contends that they are ""experts"" in their field, which I guess is supposed to be the reason for the overpricing. I take issue with owner Mike's overestimate of the time it was going to take them - I am a layperson not knowing how long ""experts"" take to change out the outlets and switches which is a basic task so I of course had to go off what he said the job would take. If the job was a complicated or involved project, I might not have an issue with what they overcharged. The employees finished up an hour and a half early or three hours for both of them. They probably ran off to another job and are getting double pay for the hour and a half they left me early, although I don't know if this is the case. I addressed my concerns with Mike directly and got nowhere, no offer to split the difference to make the customer happy and to be fair, nothing other than a question from him whether their work was okay. I did not have issue with the work, other than the clean up vacuuming needed to be better (drywall left in my carpet and on the tile floor and I had to have the guys redo work because one new switch in the closet didn't turn on the light which they did not notice) and I had to clean up black fingerprints from the light plates and outlets. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service, especially at this time when all of us are hurting financially. Guess Raceway Electric won't be hurting with the extra $340 they got from me. Would not recommend this company unless you like supplementing Raceway's bottom line for nothing in return.

Can't say enough about Raceway. After getting a tankless water heater installed I needed to move an outlet. I call Raceway and set up an appointment. Mike showed up and not only installed a new outlet he realized my garage refrigerator was plugged into a faulty gfi outlet and switched that out also. Mike was on time and extremely friendly. I highly recommend Raceway for any of your electrical needs.

I rarely give reviews but I would like to recommend Mike, Billy, Sam, Miranda and the whole team at Raceway Electric. They were professional, courteous, responsive, and fairly priced. We made last minute changes which required them to modify their schedule to accommodate us, and they made it happen. If you need electrical work, give them a call; you won't be disappointed.

We had Raceway do complete wiring and installation for three new 52-inch ceiling fans in our condo (with no existing wiring), a pretty big job. Quite a lot of work, especially running the new wiring to a plug in a room with high ceilings. It was a full day's work, and Mike (Dombo) and Billy did a great job. Such great work that we also had them run a dedicated circuit to our 3rd floor balcony for an outdoor electric grill. One hour or so, and it was done. They worked fast, left the areas spotless, and the prices were exactly as agreed. They did not do the replacement of the drywall ""holes"" for running wire, but recommended a guy that also did superb patching and painting, and were available the next day. I'll try to post a couple photos to better explaining what I'm talking about here. Two days start to finish, the fans look like they've always been here, and we can see no trace anywhere of the 50+ holes cut, patched and painted. Raceway has subsequently done work for several of our neighbors as well. Really great work, reasonably priced, and left everything spotless. We could not be happier with the work. Highly recommended!

Mike and his team at Raceway were great to work with! From the estimate where he brought some good ideas, to the quick execution and professionalism of his team. They performed some home improvements for me, sconces, outside lights, garage lights, ceiling fan. Highly recommend!

They worked closely with the roofers because we were getting a new roof, too, and that really helped make things go smoothly. We also used them recently to replace a breaker for our jacuzzi.
