Rick was so easy to work with--from the initial estimate to the close of the project. It was like working with a family friend who was looking out for our best interest. We had an external lighting project at our commercial building. I had absolutely no experience overhauling old light fixtures to LED. He gave me a couple of options, all quality solutions as we didn't want value without quality, for the fixtures. He even spotted items to address so we weren't calling him back after the project closed. I can't say enough about his professionalism, the timeliness (project was started and finished as he said) and the cost/service. I would highly recommend him as we had an excellent experience with rPro.

I had a circuit breaker problem. Rick was here in less than 2 hours. He put a temporary fix in that got my outdoor kitchen operational and identified problems with the original main service to correct in the coming days. I have some experience in electrical construction and have every confidence he will improve on the original installation. The reviews are spot on. These guys are good.

These guys you can TRUST. I was lucky to have met both Rick and Osh.
Osh did all the work for me and went above and beyond. Capable, patient, and a nice guy too. I felt comfortable with him for hours and he even took time to explain a few things to me when I expressed an interest to learn. Over and above and never acted like he was in a hurry to get to the next job. I felt heard, respected, and important. What a relief this experience was for me. God bless these guys and this business! Competent, fast, on time. Ninous and Osh had to come early to get the electrical done before a fireplace insert was installed. They each traveled a long way to get to my house on time, early in the morning. They worked fast and were done just as the fireplace insert installers arrived.

They were totally unprofessional and do not know how to conduct business. A representative told me they will charge a $178.00 service fee to come to my property. His justification was because he ""does not want to come to my property, provide me with a quote and I go off and use it for someone else.""... I said ""I understand""...

So, to change the conversation towards working around his position I began discussing the work items and he gave me a back hand quote of $20-30k. I said, ""Look, I have no issues with the cost and I understand your hand-waiving here, I want the issues fixed and up to code...But I have an issue with your $178.00 service fee.

Rather than log role and say maybe $80.00 and we'll role it into the job if you hire me (which I was hoping he'd say) --- He said ""bye"".

Totally unprofessional and they lost a customer for ever!

This company must clearly be understaffed and not have enough highly qualified Electricians .... But next time, simply say hey ""we're overbooked and I don't think we can take this job"" -- Giving quotes is the cost of doing business. Most electricians provide this for free.

Great job. I generally don't write reviews but for R Pro i had to.
My panel box died on Friday night PGE came n cut the line. I my wife on Saturday started calling electric companies n electricians once we saw sun. All of them as expected were not answering, a few called n said they cannot do it or will come after a week and then i had Rick call me on Saturday 3pm n i explained him the issue. Rick said he would visit on Sunday morning as he lives in Fremont too. He came and saw n knew what it is n said we simply have to replace the box. He gave me a quote which was a $500 more than normally he would charge. But no regrets it was worth it. He got his guys on a Sunday morning finished the job. Both his guys on site were very courteous n professional. Rick spoke to PGE guys got the inspection scheduled 1st thing on Monday morning. Next day called me to say inspection was done, job completed and the power was back ON.
Well the funniest part was Rick charged me $500 extra coz he was pissed off as another electric company came on site same time on Sunday morning when Rick reached my home n they just opened the box n did not close n left those guys gave me a exorbitant quote . As expected Rick was mad at me n told me i have to charge you $500 extra. Again as i mentioned it was worth it.

I have seen electricians who come to site , check your issue and then tell you scary stories n add a bit and hike up the price and still does not complete the job properly and take money. No professionalism, trust n workmanship.

I hope Rick and his team continue to maintain their professionalism and good workmanship always.

I blew my circuit breaker and I thought I needed to replace it. I booked to have a different company to come out to look at my problem and it was for the next day and they would not tell me how much it would cost.

So I went on Yelp and found R Pro Electric and the front desk told me they were pretty booked but she would try to a hold of Rick to see if he could squeeze me in. I talked to Rick and he said I should push the breaker harder to the off position and then back over to the on position. This worked and my power was restored.

He said he would feel bad coming out to my home to flip a switch and charge me $175. There are a few good people left out there and I found me one.

Absolute fantastic company to work with!
Was able to install 11 Ethernet outlets, a central patch panel and some supporting power outlets in our house with very short notice and did absolute quality work. All outlets were ran without any additional drywall holes to support and no exposed wires.

Lots of pride in their work with great results!

What an awesome company! I already wrote a good review based on an upgrade R Pro Electric did a few months ago. Today, I ran into a problem when I tried replacing a few older switches. I fried some wires in the process. I called Rick and told him about my problem. He sent someone the same day. The technician took care of the issues in no time. This was a huge relief because the house is not on the MLS. So I couldn't afford any downtime. Everything is working now, thanks to R Pro Electric. Thanks again guys.
