UPDATE 2: A few weeks later Nick did send me a final invoice/receipt (I had already made all the payments, the hold up was the receipt for tax purposes for me). I had basically given up but he did send it without my asking one more time which helped.

I still have the same mixed feelings - the quality of the work was very good, Nick always showed up for the work when he said he would. My issues were mostly the followup of the permit and receipt. Perhaps my experience was anomalous since there are many other very good reviews on yelp that I believe to be genuine.

This company and especially Nic could not be nicer, more professional, and with very reasonable rates. I contacted R & N to have an outlet moved, had an appointment, but needed to cancel and left a message for Nic. Unfortunately, he did not receive it, drove to my home at the ""scheduled"" appointment, and waited for me. I felt horrible as I couldn't meet him, and no longer needed the service as explained in my voicemail. It was definitely a mixup in communication, but Nic couldn't have been more understanding and professional.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend R & N especially because of Nic, and will use them in the future. Even when there was a miscommunication, I received stellar service...no doubt that is the company philosophy.

DO Not DO Not Use this company. Their truck was driving about 50MPH in a residential neighborhood. When motioned to slow down, they sped up faster and RAN A STOP SIGN.

Called on a Saturday morning as our ceiling fan/light unit mysteriously stopped working. Gave Nick a call around 9:30a and he said was able to fit us in only an hour and a half later at 11a! Very helpful AND he actually showed up at 11 on the dot- rare for technicians to show up when they say they will. He was very communicative- giving us the heads up when he was on the way. Turned out to be a minor fix and we were all done by 11:15! Thanks for the easy and fast service :)

Had Nick come out for an installation of a 240 volt level 2 charger for my townhouse. He was very prompt and got me a quote the same day. He was able to install it the next day. His quote was very reasonable and he stands behind his work. I am very pleased with the whole installation. He was able to work around all issues that arose and did the job very efficiently. I would recommend him highly to anyone in need of electrical work.

Called Nick Mendoza on a Thursday morning to meet that evening for an estimate for a charging station for my electric car. He was very accommodating and met me late night after I was done with work. He gave me a fair estimate and his crew come in that Saturday to complete the project. Nick was readily available to answer my questions and they did a great job. They made sure my apartment HOA would approve of the job and did a good job with that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician.
