Emely Monrroy came out from R.E. Electric on 7/5/24 when we lost power due to a main breaker failure. She quickly restored our power on a temporary basis and returned on 7/7/24 and replaced our entire electrical panel. I later noticed that the new box had no main breaker (the original problem) and one circuit in the house was non-functional. When I pointed this out, she came back and checked. She agreed to come back to troubleshoot and offered to replace the box with one containing a main breaker.

She made many excuses for not returning, including rain. Eventually she stopped communicating. When we finally gave up on ever seeing her again, we hired a new electrician. On 8/31/24, he immediately found that one breaker was disconnected. He also said that there were many things wrong in the box including: No grommets where the wires entered and exited the box exposing insulation to being potentially cut; not securing the wall feedthru to the box; widening the feedthru hole leaving an opening to the outdoors; and many splices with wire nuts. He said that it did not meet code. Upon reviewing her receipt he said that she had never gotten a permit and that the receipt did not list a license number. Apparently these last two items will cause a problem for us when we go to sell, if the other problems mentioned above do not cause a fire first.
