Today R.B. Travis conducted service on our sewer line that was backed up. Victor the technician assigned cane out and did a great job, He was professional in arriving , introducing himself ,explaining what would be done and the requirements he needed for me to do to support his service as the customer.

He also made some future service recommendations that might be needed.

Victor service was outstanding and I am going to specify his assignment for any and all future plumbing services

My water heater broke and I needed a new one. I contacted R B Travis Plumbing and explained my problem. The Customer Service person was excellent from start to finish! The person who set up the appointment was polite. The repairmen, Nico Malherbe & Ernesto Vargas responded first thing in the morning. Their work was impeccable! I highly recommend R B Travis Plumbing!

I've had RB Travis out to my 1940's Gregory Gardens home so many times that I had to start keeping track of it all.
From sewer clean outs, to bubbling toilets, to leaks in pipes in the wall, to installing a new water heater, they've done it all professionally and skillfully. They respond very quickly to the calls I place to HomeServe (extra interior plumbing and exterior sewage coverage that I buy from my water company). HomeServe gives multiple local plumbing contractors the information when a covered party calls, but 100% of the time it has been RB Travis that has called me back first (always within the hour, and often so fast that I've barely hung up with HomeServe!). I've had RBT technicians Nico, Carl, Hamsa among others, and all have done this difficult job with great attitudes and great skill. They even put booties on when coming in the house, and they don't complain about dragging 150 lb lines in and out of their trucks (side note, they'd really benefit from a ramp of some kind - I worry about their backs).
Today I had a real mess - sewage in both bathtubs, toilets not flushing right, sewer water coming out the trap near the front door. A big, gross blow out.... As always, they came when they said they would. Initially Hamsa cleaned the exterior sewer line all the way out to 80 feet (twice), but it didn't clear. He gave me the choice of taking off the front toilet and snaking through there, or trying a side clean out in the master bedroom. It was after 5 pm and Hamsa had been working since 6 am, but he was still willing to keep at it until the problem was solved. He was very patient with frequent calls coming in from both his company and HomeServe, all the while with me asking him questions. Homeserve was having technical issues, and Eve from RBT was extremely kind when she straight up took care of a situation for me rather than have me on the phone trying to reach HomeServe all night. It was SUPER generous of her, and it confirmed
for me why l ALWAYS call RB Travis first when I have any plumbing needs!! Wow Eve, you made my week!! Kudos to a great local company who truly values long term relationships with their customers!!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They dont even deserve 1 star. It seems like they only have 1 person that knows what he is doing and his name is Carl, but other than that, the rest of the people are garbage. They seem to be high or just clueless that dont know what they are doing, dont have technical or people skills. I ordered a clean out and hydroscrub that turned into a nightmare. The guys they sent to do the work put the clean out in the wrong place and ran into an issue, got scared and bounced. They called their GM and their GM told them that I needed to pay another $15,000 to continue the work. I didn't agree to pay them, so they left pipes cut opened, disconnected and a big hole in my ground. Long story short, they never finished the job and instead they damaged my pipes and left a mess. I called and ask to speak to their GM twice and both times the girl who answered the phone said he would call me back and still havent't. This company is a mess and they need new management. Such poor service, communication, and business ethics.

Back on December 22, 2022, both my toilets clogged up and the sewage was pumping back through the drains and into the shower of one bathroom and the bath tub of the other. I called the company who managed my maintenance policy for my water and septic lines who in turn, contacted R.B Travis. I was scheduled for service late in the afternoon (between 12pm and 4pm) and I honestly didn't think my plumbing issues were something that could be repaired that same day, especially with an appointment scheduled for so late in the day but, I was desperate and just happy to have a technician to evaluate the problem. I called to check on when the technician would arrive and was informed that he was taking longer than expected on his current site but, the technician did arrive within their given time window. Technician Alex Verdin was real friendly and informative and got to work right away. For a second, I thought that I assumed correctly and that Alex would not be able to fix my plumbling issue when suddenly he said to me, ""Hear that?"" It was the sound of flowing water. He continued, ""Music to my ears!"" Technician Alex Verdin was able to fix the issue with my homes plumbing quickly and efficiently, all while providing great customer service and being friendly and informative. I would definitely recommend RB Travis's service and the excellent work done by their technician Alex Verdin.

Our house had a sewage stoppage. This morning, Carl came out during the torrential rainstorm to unclog the sewage line stoppage. What I like about this experience was Carl's communication with me on what he was unclogging and the specific tool bit on his motorized snake. It was not only successful but probably will keep the sewage line clear a bit longer. Great Job.

I appreciate the kindness of the plumber that came to resolve our issues with our shower. The plumber's name is Alex. He was very communicative and helpful. Any question I asked, he answered without hesitation. I also liked how he came during the time span given to us, which is awesome! He was polite and exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend R.B. Travis. Thank you once again!

I have used Travis in the past and have been quite happy with their work and communication. Not so this time! The insurance company sent them for a water leak issue. From the start the woman on the phone was rude. The workers finally arrived and were nice and seemingly competent, saying they would return to finish.
Then no calls and rudeness when I called to check on the status. Finally, she just lied and said the insurance company told them not to proceed. A total lie. And so rude. They need a new person to answer the phone. This woman is not customer friendly.

I highly recommend this company, if I could give more than five stars I would. We had an external pipe leak and our warranty company sent out R.B. Travis right away.
Rudy was absolutely amazing, came out on a Sunday, found the leak right away and got to work. He completed the job in less than 3 hours and did an excellent job.
He was very informative and honest, and answered all our questions.
We will use them for all of our plumbing needs.

we were getting problem of getting water supply to our bathroom and kitchen area in Livermore CA . we called for their service and they fixed the problem.
some how we noticed that blue tap is running hot water and red one is running cold .
there after we called them again to fix it and it was fixed but when you run the shower in the bathroom water goes in the garage area.
we even called them again to check this out as it was was part of the work of their first visit.
Now they are demanding for $225.00 for just to visit.
I told them i would be happy to pay if it not related the job done earlier.
ridiculous demand without checking the cause .
