Highly recommend. Two friends of mine recommended Quaweay and I was pleased with the technician's work. I was able to get an appointment just a few days after I contacted the company. The technician was courteous and explained things to me and completed the work quickly - replacing two wall outlets that stopped working.

Highly recommend! We had Quaweay come for what we thought was a straightforward 2-3 day upgrade of knob and tube wiring with some grounding in key areas. After finding some things they found concerning, David and Genius went above and beyond tracing all wires and found a number of serious safety issues from a ball of wires held together in part by duct tape buried beneath insulation to evidence of a past (small) electrical fire in the crawl space. Somehow this was all missed by the home inspection and absent from disclosures...

Jessica was great and always available/responsive as we continued adding to the scope of the work and having to extend days. In the end not only did the work get done correctly and leave us feeling comfortable in our house, but the whole team was amazing to work with making what easily could have been a nightmare situation as painless as possible.

Just want to say that we've had a wonderful experience with this electrical company. We called a got an estimate for installing a fan and chandelier very quickly. The work was scheduled out a couple of weeks as it took some time to decide on the fan. The technicians--
Genius and David came right on time as scheduled and efficiently completed the work.
I highly recommend them and we will use them again for some additional electrical
work.

They are my go to electricians. I've had them replace knob and tube wiring in my house, upgrade outlets, replace several light fixtures, install a new box, and add lighting to my basement. They are always prompt in replying, helpful, and timely. Can't imagine a better electrician company.

Very responsive, kind, and helpful! Our trees blew down in the windstorm and we had to call 6 different electricians to see who would help us. Since the power lines connected our in-law cottage to our main house and fell on private property, Alameda Municipal Power were unable to help.

Quaweay Electric responded immediately and set up an appointment with me for the next morning. Relief!!

Then I got a surprise visit first thing the same morning, from our regular electrician who was able to come in and ""save the day"" unexpectedly.

I contacted Quaweay to let them know, and it turns out they were already on their way, but were able to call the technicians back in time.

It's very rare in this day and age (since everyone is crazy busy and there's too much work to go around) to find such a responsible, responsive and proactive electrician.

We hired Quaweay to do a few different tasks in our home including installing power and light fixtures in rooms that had not previously had them in a hundred year old home in Alameda. Their quote for the work was far more reasonable than others. They were easy to contact via email, quick to respond to request for estimate, and to schedule the work. I was home while the work happened and Genius and David were wonderfully courteous, took the time to explain what they were doing, conscientious with our space (making sure to cover everything and clean up very well after the work was done). When we hit some curveballs as one tends to always get with these old homes and what appears like a simple task, Genius quickly troubleshooted and again with a very reasonable price adjustment. Would hire them again any time we have future electrical needs and cannot recommend them highly enough. We have had significant work done on our home since we purchased 3 years ago and this was by far the best contractor experience so far.

A neighbor recommended Quaweay to us, and we had Quaweay replace the 50 year old electric service on our house, along with some miscellaneous smaller jobs (adding some outlets inside and outside, etc.). Genius and the Quaweay team were excellent, and coordinated both city permits and PG&E hook-ups. The budget was fair, and they honored their quote. They did a great job on the work (down to painting the box and conduit on the front of the house as required by city code).

We definitely will use Quaweay again for future electric work. They also install solar, so we may use them for that process as well.
