We hired Tom and His crew to install a new Trane Unit at our Home in June 2019. They came out and installed the unit. Upon the installation they crew had fell through our roof. We also had them remove duct and the old holes needed to be patched, I understand that they do not paint, that was fine. They did the worst patch job and it did not match my knock down that we had just had done. We hired some to do the repairs. At that time we had left a balance of 1000.00 on the books, but paid almost 15K for the unit and a new smart thermostat. We received a bill from them for the amount due of 1000.00 and had explained to Tom that we felt we did not have to pay the amount, since we had to do the repairs. We started having problems with the unit and contacted them for repairs, they refused to honor the warranty. We still had the balance... I was not a happy customer.

I contacted Service Champion, they came out and were great to deal with. They handle my problem and was able to solve the problem. It was the thermostat. They took it back to Trane and they replaced it, we also found out they had not connected the vents property. They went out of there way to help us. I will be dealing with Service Champion from now on.

Tom is not a man of his word, and should have come out to handle this. We are still awaiting an receipt on the money that we spent and we paid cash.... Never again will I deal with PurAir.... BEWARE!!!!!!

Tom and Paul are THE BEST when it comes to anything AC related.

At our old house, we didn't have any AC, so we had Tom come out and he told us our options (central vs ductless). We ended up going with ductless, and Pure Air was super quick, transparent and the quality of work was great.

At my office, our AC unit stopped working one day, so I called Tom up again, and he sent out his guys to take care of our unit. Paul was one of the guys who came out, and he did everything very quickly and was really great at explaining what happened.

If you have any AC needs, whether it's an existing unit that needs to be serviced, or you need AC (like you stupidly purchased an old house that doesn't come with ANY AIR CONDITIONING IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA), I highly, highly recommend Pure Air!

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews here. I called because our air stopped working and the person who answered the phone barely spoke English, didn't ask what the problem was and had me text my name, address and phone number to him, rather than take it down himself. He didn't even ask what was wrong with my air, just wanted my information, He gave me a time between 11:00 and 1:00 and no one showed up. When I called back he had no idea who I was and told me the technician was busy. No further information was given. At this point my better senses took over and I decided to call another company, Very bad customer service, and they could care less about getting my business.

If I could give Tom & his technician 6 stars I would. My husband and I just purchased a home to find out during the inspection that the condenser was not working.
One of our neighbors referred us to a different HVAC company that told us we needed to replace our 2005 unit. He also said that the condenser had no Freon. We paid the other company for their service call, then contacted Tom at Pure Air for a second opinion. Tom sent a technician to our home in Placentia within 2 days of my call. His technician was excellent in diagnosing and explaining the problem (a fuse was installed upside down and a wire that connected the coil to the thermostat had been cut). We asked him about the Freon and he said the Freon was fine. Once the wire and fuse were repaired, our unit is now working beautifully. This repair versus replacing our unit saved us upwards of $4500 and I'm extremely grateful for the honesty and expertise of Pure Air. I highly recommend them for any HVAC issues.

Pure Air is extremely honest and reliable. Tom and his associate gave us excellent service. I thought my 4 year old Ac broke but Tom and Rony Informed me that my ac unit was probably under warranty still. ( they did not install the original unit). Tom told
Me that he would contact the manufacturer for me and ensure the parts would be under warranty and all I had to pay for was labor. Well after Rony came
To inspect the Ac he found out it wasn't broken after all and that one of the switches on the circuit breaker was off. He fixed it and didn't charge us.

My heater would not light the pilot to turn on. Tom was able to come the same day. He did a thorough job in running diagnostics on the heater and checking the electrical to my thermostat. It turned out to being a bad brown grounding wire from my thermostat to the heater. Tom was very honest about all options and costs in replacing the wire or just using batteries for the thermostat. I'm really glad I contacted Pure Air and had Tom come over and service my heater. I will for sure call him in the future with any other concerns. I have a 15 year old water heater, so when that starts to have problems I will be calling him for assistance on replacing it. I highly recommend you contact Pure Air in Garden Grove.
