I called about a chimney cap replacement and Fernando came to measure right away. I really appreciated the speed and efficiency. We discussed what color I wanted the cap to be and that it would be a custom fabrication. We agreed on a price $900 foot the cap and installation.

About a week later, I contacted him again to check in on the progress of the fabrication. It was supposed to be done by then. He didn't say if it had been made (I think it hadn't) and gave no timeline, but said the price had gone up to $1100. I said no deal.

If it had been $1100 from the beginning, it would have been fine. This is how much I ended up paying so it was fair. However, there was a loss of trust.

Additional info: Salvador, his brother, moved out of state last year and is no longer with this business, so a lot of the older reviews are for work that he did or they did together.

He installed my gas fireplace.....it was a great experience. Had some issues with the company we purchased the insert....Fernando traveled to pick up the insert, and efficiently i stalled it. He showed us how to operate the remote to turn on, set temperature and turn off fireplace! He left the fireplace area spotless!

I regret to have to write this review. Fernando seemed reliable and credible when I spoke with him. We set up an appointment 11 days in advance. I messaged and left voice message on day of appointment but Fernando went MIA. No return call, no return message. There is no other rating I could provide in this situation.

What a wonderful experience we had with Fernando Pulido and his company! Our old fireplace needed a lot of work, and Fernando managed the entire process without a glitch. He advised us on options, discussed pros and cons to help us make decisions, and was totally honest and helpful in every way. His prices were very reasonable, and the quality of his work was superb. His time estimate for the work was precise, and he dealt with any obstacles with ease. We only have one chimney, but we will be looking for other ways to work with Fernando's general construction company. Fabulous work, wonderful people, great job Fernando!!! I received excellent service from Fernando Pulidos Fireplace Service. They responded promptly to my call for help, and once they arrived at my home, were able to assess the non-obvious cause of the problem with my gas insert fireplace, and they fixed it for a reasonable fee. I'm very happy with them, will certainly use them again in the future, and give a hearty recommendation of their service.
