I Place a call to my insurance AHS about having half power to house, my Bedroom, Gargage, and Den didn't have any power I hated it because I couldn't wait T.V in my room. With in 2 hours the dispatch girl called and made my Appt. for the next day between 8 & 12 that""s the
window time they would show up, PT electric guy came out and replace some electrical parts and I was good to good...Thanks PT Electric

First appt: Great! Temp fix...will call to schedule follow up Friday or Monday. Nothing. Minimum of five appointments (all initiated by me as they NEVER called me back!) scheduled and missed - no call, no apology. Nothing. Maybe it's because I was a home warranty customer? To be fair, garage door finally fixed and works great, but sheesh! I try only to Yelp positive stuff but this company was begging for a crummy review.

5 months, 3 visitations, many phone calls and much waiting later, the same problem of my garage door remains up to this date (04/17/15). This fact prompts me to agree with other Yelpers. I called them on 12/09/14 due to the malfunctioning of my garage door. The last ""verdict"" I had from them was that they are waiting for the parts on 12/21/14. I and my home warranty company followed up at least 10 times since Jan this year, which leads to the same unfixed garage door. Based on personal experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone.

Note to the technician: I hope, with a touch of reality, that you are aware that LA (or US for that matter) is quite a melting pot with various ethnicity. Capisce??! If so, it would be great if you could take that into consideration and hold yourself from making racist remarks, especially before you see the owner in a multi-race&nationality house-hold.

PT Electric and gd are contracted through my American Home Shield Ins. Was having problems with the garage door opener. The girl in dispatch called me within a 1/2 of placing the call to the ins. We set up a time for next morning, they gave me a 4 hour window. The service tech came out within the first 2 hours, was very professional and polite. Was able to fix the problem and looked over the entire system, for a tune up. I recommend them highly and will request their company for any future repairs!

Ethan, the head technician, went above and beyond. He fixed the problem, tuned up the whole system and even changed the lightbulb in my garage for me.

I contacted this company as they were recommended by my Total Protect Home Warranty program. Professional receptionist who answered and returned my call to set up an appointment. I took off from work 1/2 day for The appointment that was scheduled for garage door spring repair (quoted $265) , Appointment was 4-6PM. I was called at 4:30 and told they would be coming by 6:00 pm. NO ONE SHOWED UP, didn't any have the professional basics to call and say they were not coming. Won't use this company again.

Ouch. There are some serious one stars on YELP. I was dealing with PT Electric through my home buyers insurance. I had 4 electricians come out and none of them wanted to fix the problem or was genuinely interested in finding a solution. Tracy and his employee came in like special forces. Diagnosed the problem in 40 minutes and had it fixed in a couple of hours. Maybe having the boss there helps, but they fixed a very big problem for me in short order. Thanks PT!

the worst - and i agree with eric b. dispatcher is lacking brain cells. seriously not sure how this place runs - must be people forced to use them through their home protection warranty. non responsive, clueless and either unaware or uncaring that they are either. lame.....

Stay away! They ""fixed"" my garage door opener as it would get stuck when opening last year. They told me I would never have the same problem again. Well even before a year has past....I'm having the exact same problem. When I remind them that they told me that this problem would not happen again...now all of a sudden they say it could be something else...it could be this and it could be that...yeah that's why my garage door is getting stuck at the exact same spot as last time so if it's something else then what did you fix the last time? Got another company to come out and immediately told me it was the springs and that is what caused the problem last time too....

We hired PT Electric to install the main electrical for our new house. We met with the owner who was very nice and new what he was talking about, they also had the best price. They we're prompt, fast and courteous. I would recommend PT Electric!!!!
