Phil was a pro! He communicated promptly and did exactly wat we wanted. He installed 3 ceiling fans and 4!light fixtures. Cleaned up after himself. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Background: PSL Electric was a subcontractor chosen by my contractor for a repair and remodel of my condominium in Oakland in 2020. Work consisted of reinstalling wiring and setting up new conduit, fixtures, and outlets. it was perhaps three days' work total.

My experience: Phil and his associate were professional in terms of showing up on time and doing things deliberately, good with customer service by entertaining my questions and explaining in lay terms upcoming problems to solve and showed that they cared about adhering to code so that I could feel confident about safety and my ability to sell my home some day.

Phil came highly recommended to us by our neighbor and general contractor. He did the wiring for an addition / home gym. Then we had him back for the power upgrade and hook up for the hot tub. He was prompt, provided accurate and reasonable estimates, and his workmanship is phenomenal. Phil then came back to figure out a permanent solution for a portable air conditioner to avoid venting out the window, do the wiring for a television to hang on the wall, and hard wired Ethernet to three rooms. I highly recommend Phil for all your electrical needs. He is knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, smart, friendly, personable, professional, smart, communicative, patient . . . I could go on but you get the point.

PSL Electric just finished various tasks around my house and I am very pleased with the results and process. Fixed a couple of lights, installed several outlets and additional light fixtures, and a new Nest thermostat. Did so efficiently and within the price quoted. A few months ago I decided that I needed to enhance my decor. I decided the first thing that I would do would be to get canned lighting in my living and dining area. I was referred to Phil with PSL Electrical. Phil came out to give me an estimate on the different areas and what types of canned I might be interested in. He was quite the professional and offered lots of insight. After making a few notes he stated that he would work up a quote. I had the quote returned to me in a matter of less than 1 day!! Needless to say the quote was right in line with my budget...He was hired!
After about 2 1/2 days, PSL Electrical had installed 8 Canns, moved some electrical wiring, installed a dimmer and replaced an existing ""non-working"" light switch!!!
The end results are astounding and I couldn't be happier!
Any and all future electrical work needed here in my home will most definitely go to PSL Electrical!!

Phil is an excellent electrician. We had a small job in Moraga that he gave us an excellent priceshowed up when he said he would and did very quality work. I'll use them again.

This is a secondary post as yelp has lost a lot of positive reviews including some for my own business... Phil is a qualified electrician and he does what he says he's going to do... That's not easy to find today. I highly recommend him, his work is good his prices are fair. Steve
