It's very hard to find an honest contractor but ProPower Electric is a company you can rely on 100%. They were very good at communicating and we're early to their appointment. They inspected the issue with the microwave vent and advised that it was not an electrical issue. They did not even charge me for the trip fee. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a dependable and honest electrician. I will use them again.

We were in a difficult situation with a irresponsible general contractor. He abandoned ADU job at the utility stage. We had no idea where to start. Our dghtr had some ADU work done by Propower and was so impressed, she immediately recommended Angel and his team
We got a reasonable price and once everything was in order the work began, I felt a huge relief!
One ADU + one Jr ADU and the main house our old panel had to be changed to a multi unit panel.
Also including dimmer switches, outlets, fan, cameras and this was all done in a timely manner i don't know any of the lingo but if you can get my husband to smile after all the work was done, that's great service, value and quality. Great work Propower!

Angel, Thomas, and the ProPower team were great. We had an unexpected surprise where our new plug-in hybrid vehicle kept tripping our breaker. Angel and his team were able to come out and give an estimate the next day. Once I approved the work, the team was at our house the next day. They dug a trench and installed an underground conduit to our detached garage in a matter of hours. They finished so fast that my new EV charger hadn't even arrived from FedEx yet. They were willing to go out to lunch and wait for the charger to arrive in order to finish the job. Excellent service with clear explanations and a reasonable price. We are already planning to use them for another job.

I was told they would be here at 8:30 AM today, but despite multiple calls throughout the day to confirm if they were still coming, they stopped answering their phone entirely. This isn't the first issue I've had with them either.

They originally came on Monday, spent about 30 minutes on the job, and immediately told me it was going to be a ""huge problem"" that would require another visit. They scheduled to come back Thursday morning, but they never showed up. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the decency to let me know they wouldn't be able to make the appointment. No call, no text, nothing.

This kind of poor communication and lack of reliability is unacceptable, especially when you're relying on someone to follow through. If you're looking for professionals who respect your time and keep you informed, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Impeccable work from start to finish.

We decided to work with ProPower, Angel, Thomas, and the team for an entire office remodel of seven spaces. The existing electrical work was extremely outdated and previously done by an inexperienced electrician.

Enter ProPower.

We have nothing but amazing things to say about the team. It is so difficult these days to find trustworthy licensed electrical contractors who are not only professional and polite, but are also reliable and dependable with their wealth of knowledge.

ProPower installed Hue Tracklighting, pendant lighting, replaced old florescent lighting with recessed lights, installed LED shelving, various spotlights, and rewired and installed new switchboards in more practical locations. The final results made an enormous difference in our renovation and we are so grateful to the team for all of their hard work.

More gratuitous praise & what sets them apart:

- Always on time and will stay until the job is complete without cutting corners. There were multiple instances when the job took longer than estimated due to complications, and Angel always offered to return to finish the job, even if it was bright and early.

- Great people. Angel manages his team and it is appreciated that he is always hands on, on site, and very involved. Thomas is equally skilled and polite. They take the time to explain so that a layperson can understand instead of being condescending or making you feel bad for not understanding industry jargon. Overall, everyone is extremely pleasant, friendly, and amiable to work with.

- They never leave a mess and always clean up after themselves! This alone is a perfect display of their work ethic and integrity. Most other contractors will do the job quickly but leave a mess for you to clean up afterwards because they really don't care. However, I have noticed that Angel and the team always bring whatever is necessary for trash disposal, vacuums, and wipe off after themselves. I have thanked them on many occasion for keeping this a priority because it really sets them apart.

- They are communicative before, during, and after the project. Angel and Thomas always double checked and confirmed with us about the placement and installation of fixtures before creating holes or damage to drywall. Another small detail that I really appreciate! There have been so many times when other contractors have not bothered to communicate and confirm with me the placement of permanent fixtures before carving a giant hole into freshly drywalled spaces -- this can obviously be really frustrating, but we never once had this issue with ProPower. They are incredibly respectful and always double check.

- When problems arise, the issues are solved and fixed quickly. If, for any reason, after the job and project was complete, we needed additional assistance with a related or unrelated electrical issue, whenever we called, they showed up. If the problem or issue happened during the job, we were contacted and the issue is communicated immediately.

All of these observations may seem very basic standards, but surprisingly, we have worked with so many other electrical contractors that do not meet these. ProPower has always met these standards with excellence and we will be calling on them time and time again!

I'm undergoing a remodel, and needed an upgraded new panel + subpanel. Angel's quote was fair, and based on our in-person conversation I could tell that he's done this many times before. Throughout the project, he was very responsive and the work was done efficiently. He went above and beyond by installing my EV charger during the subpanel install, which was not part of the original scope of work. The permit process as a breeze with him as well.
