Gave understandable quote required by Insurance company and then worked with both me and Insurance company to achieve needed repair and replacements. TImely and friendly workers and accomplished in a commited period. Good workmanship and recco for future jobs, Good local company

They created a new beautiful space in my old 1928 home. Their work was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the hard work, long hours and attention to detail that they all put in on every aspect of the project. They were all very professional, answered all my questions with patience, offered knowledgeable, experienced and skilled suggestions, and always with a smile on their faces and cheerful disposition.

I would not recommend Mike and Property Pros. Mike and team replaced all our windows and sliding glass doors 3 years ago now. The first heavy rain revealed a small leak above two large windows (new construction install). They came back and put flashing over the two windows. Six months later during some large rains, water leaked into our dry wall, causing cracking in the base boards all around these same two windows. After our property insurance mitigated the water damage, we did not want to give Mike a second chance to repair the damage. He never accepted any of the blame and didn't help pay for our repair costs or for the insurance company's costs.

Unfortunately, every sub-contractor he referred our way was fantastic and his individual employees were all great. The problem is Mike. He is a terrible communicator. He talked down to my wife, despite her knowing more about house work than me.

If you expect clear communication, sound advice, or someone who will respect your house like their own, hire someone else.

Mike and his team are always on their game taking on every challenging task I proposed. Custom Solar electrical, Swim Spa, Custom Landscaping , Plumbing, Emergency Power Outage Electrical Repairs. The Team shows up , take action and communicates with the Customer.

They get it done.

I would give no stars if possible. I do not recommend this company and will never let him or his guys do any work on any property I own. It was a huge mistake using him. Just issue after issue. When we started the project Mike was responsive and was helpful (to get the contract), but as things progressed his attitude and attention to detail declined significantly.

Mike and his crew will take any possible shortcut to complete the job and his quality of work is terrible. He barely oversaw the job and when we would ask questions he'd become defensive. He wouldn't take the time to explain what he was doing and then would become impatient and frustrated when we asked why he was doing what he was doing. I constantly had to be monitoring his guys (which is what he should have been doing) because they just don't seem to care about the quality of work.

I'm not using my real yelp account out of fear of retaliation, he seems like that kind of guy.

We hired Property Pros to remodel two very 70's bathrooms. Mike was responsive to questions, provided a very detailed and cost conscience quote, hired reliable and qualified sub-contactors and stayed relatively on schedule. We are very satisfied with the results. Additionally, when our heating system failed, Mike provided a detailed quote and hired exceptional sub-contractors to do the work (unfortunately for them at the height of a summer heat wave). Again, extremely satisfied with the work. Communication is paramount during any construction/renovation project and Mike was responsive to our questions and any concerns raised.

Used this company to update our old house that we were preparing to sell. I have never had such an unreliable contractor in my life. Started the job in April and was not finished by the end date...August. Did not show up when Mike told us they would, this happened daily. We were there painting and replacing things every day, and keeping an eye on his workers,who were were unreliable. One guy who apparently had just gotten out of prison emptied the cement mixer into the garden, and the cement step they made was crooked. Mike ordered the wrong cabinets in dining room even though we went to cabinet warehouse with him! He told us (separately) different stories. When the electric was done we discovered the heating system had not been wired!
I could go on and on! To top it off, the advice is to pay a contractor 1/3 to start, then 1/3 in the middle and 1/3 at finish. He put a lien on our house because we were waiting to have some flooring holes fixed and a few other details they neglected! So we paid Mike and they never showed up to redo their mistakes.
Do not use this company, they are totally untrustworthy.

I am very satisfied that I chose Property Pros to do the energy and electrical code upgrades, as well as the exterior painting on my Arts&Crafts bungalow. His crews were clean, efficient and considerate and were there when they said they would be. The subcontractors he used for the furnace and window installation were top-quality and if there were a slight problem, Mike resolved it in a timely manner. When his electrician, Osiris, was doing some work, he discovered a potentially hazardous problem that was a remnant of work done some time ago and they offered a solution. When County of Alameda Redevelopment imposed a tight deadline to get the work completed, Mike went out of his way to ensure the work was complete in the allotted time. He also kept on top of the permitting process. I would recommend Property Pros to anyone doing any type of remodel or upgrade to their home or property.
