Prompt Electric replaced 24 Florescent lights in our Lab with Carson Technology LED lights. The Carson Technology lights come with a 50,000 hour life span / warranty. 6 of the 24 Carson Technology lights failed within 14,400 hours. I asked Prompt Electric to replace the failed lights. I assumed that the lights themselves would be replaced under the Carson Technology warranty. Upon completing the installation of the replacement lights, Prompt Electric charged me for the lights. Instead of claiming the warranty with Carson Technology they purchased and installed a different less expensive brand of lights. I didn't push back and paid the bill. I have been pleased with the Prompt Electric installers, nice guys and they're hard workers. However, I cannot recommend Prompt Electric. If you do work with them, I recommend that you make sure to get everything in writing before hand. The owner, Ed is a bit shady in my opinion.

Like their name implies, they were prompt...doing the job the same day I called. They are also reasonable in cost.

I had a short in outdoor outlet, prompt electric fixed for an exorbant amount of money, i had no choice so i had them fix and payed. Not 6 weeks latter i had same problem, owner of co. came over and explained that i needed to rewire same outlet for $350.00 . I tried to explain that it was original problem same outlet, same problem he refused to acknowledge and refused to correct. Said problem were my 7 lights in kitchen that he would replace for another $300.00, I replaced lights with led lights myself for a total of $18.00. This was not the problem This guy is a total uncouth, unethical rip off, i would not recommend him to anyone. DO NOT CALL THIS CON ARTIST"" ""electrician""

I just had 3 Ceiling fans installed today.
Edward (Owner) stopped by this last weekend to check
everything we had bought and came today with 3 Employees.
Javier, Mauricio and Fernando did a Excellent job today and covered
everything and cleaned up well. We are Thrilled to say the least.
We would Welcome them back again.

This company installed a sub circuit for our water softener and water heater more than a year ago. Did a good job then. In the storm we just had they both stopped working and by testing on the phone with the boss at Prompt we realized something was wrong with the circuit, which is outdoors. Turns out one outlet had been knocked out and needed replacing. Boss told me what to do in the meantime to continue having hot water. When the service person came he fixed it and called the boss and he decided not to charge me for it. Prompt (as in their name), professional. A pleasure to deal with. They will be my go-to company for electrical.

This company is Flakey with no communication skills. Long story short... Called for estimate. Left v-mail. Edward called back to let me know he would call me again to set up an appointment. 6 days later, I called Edward again. He apologized for not calling me back...and set up an appointment for Tuesday at 1PM. No one showed. I called Edward again. He said he would have someone come out tomorrow, (Wed). A nice guy showed around 3:30. Told me he could not do anything that day. It was too late in the day. He said Edward would call me on Thurs. He did not call. I called Edward. Told him he sucked and I'm going elsewhere for services. FOREWARNING... BEWARE! This company sucks.

This is the second time I've had Prompt out for a job. The first time they replaced a busted circuit breaker the same day I called them. I'm glad because it was urgent!

This time they added a GFCI outlet behind my toilet (for the bidet/heated seat). I asked them for the outlet to be white on white, as opposed to having red and black buttons, and they actually had one on them in their van.

I called them at 10:30am to describe the job; they arrived around 12:30pm. They quoted me a reasonable price, I agreed, they wrote a short contract, I signed it, and they did the job in an hour and a half. It was complicated, more complicated than they had expected. They were careful around the toilet, fixtures, and lights. I was VERY worried when I saw the light hanging and the holes, but they left my bathroom cleaner than when they arrived. The patchwork where they made the hole was nearly perfect. I couldn't believe it.

This company guarantees free estimate. Nice. Maybe should change the name to when I feel like getting there electric. My first appointment they were there on time and pretty quick, Ready to spend no less than $2000 to just look at it. When I was ready to do the work and schedule, took two weeks, canceled twice, and no showed twice. They say that no job is too small, but, from my experience, when they thought I had a big job, and it turned out to be a medium job, they couldn't be bothered. I have wasted many hours waiting for them to "" possibly show up"" possibly showing up, and then not. I do not know about their electrician qualifications, because, I have never seen what they could do. But I can tell you their reliability is zero.....
