We have been calling them for 2 days to come take a look at our leaking AC unit that they just ""serviced"" last week. No calls back and no appointment set. They only want your money for installations and terrible customer service for follow up. Customer lost.

I've waited through 2 three hour windows and, for two different reasons, the tech did not come. Just called and asked for someone to be sent and I was told in a sarcastic manner, "" Ok ma'am, I will pull a tech away from a family with no ac just so you can have your ac serviced."" She talked over me and was very rude--and what happened to our appointment?

We've used and liked Promag in the past--otherwise I'd just give one star. Appointment Bookings and customer service leave much to be desired. ?

This was the 2nd system they installed for me I called on Wednesday because my air quit running. They said they would come out that day in a few hours, Fred came out. I needed a whole new system. They have financing, which is awesome too. They came out the very next day to install. Hector & Danny were my techs, they were clean polite and professional. My air is so nice and quiet, and cold!!! Thank you so much.

ROUGH START but a SUCCESSFUL ENDING! I'm not sure what happened to the level of customer since from the dispatch team since the last time using this company [2015] but it is far lacking the communication once rec'd. I went from having a minor leak, getting the entire line replace at a cost of several thousand dollars, only to have a MAJOR a/c problem. Worst of all, no follow-up from the company, and no after hours service on Friday.

@Office Personnel - there will always be angry customers but its how you handle it that makes you shine as a star. For instance, instead of me calling you numerous times call me with an update on your technicians ETA. FYI - There's apps that does it for you instantly.

@Technicians - the 4 STARS is because of the technicians and Tara. Empathy goes along way when dealing with a frustrated customer. These guys [both teams, Tido and Robert / Juan and Raul] but their humps in correcting the problem with eagerness and a smile. I'm very appreciative of them.

@JD - your field techs are working hard at making your company look good. If would be nice if your office personnel upgrade their communication skills or tweak their effectiveness with being proactive. I GUARANTEE you will see more business with more positive reviews - ijs!

A very disappointing experience. I am a Real Estate Broker and Property Manager. I work with investors, most;y out of Country and out of State, who purchase units and have me manage them as rentals. Servicing AC units is a big part of the rental business operating expenses. I have been in the business since 1984 starting in Connecticut's Fairfield County, Nevada's Clark County (Vegas), Maryland's Somerset County-Crisfield, and Orange County FL. On October 17, 2017 I hired Promag Energy Group to service a unit in a 2/2 condo in Orlando. The bill was 30-50% higher than expected and after requesting a detailed bill for the work performed some 4+ times via text as well as in direct conversation, I have not received a bill for my records although the $180 charge went on my card the same day ""service"" was rendered. They did get the unit working again... something about the water, dirty coils, etc and that the unit was old and still had the R-22 refrigerant, and needed to be replaced. Along with the bill for service I also ask for a quote on a new system, which also necer came. Not a Staff that is professional or gives a hoot.

I called this company and requested information about their fees for diagnostic visit and I was told that the diagnostic visit cost $ 55.00. The person who came to my home checked my new AC unit (which it was not working), then he check the air handler and didn't find any problems with both units. He told me that the problem was with my circuit beaker box needed to be changed. I asked him how much they would charge me to change the box, he said ""it's expensive"" probably around $1,200.00, when I asked him how soon can they do the job, he went outside my home and made a phone call, came back and told me he was wrong about the price and it will cost me $1,600.00. When I told him that I'll call him later to do the job, he said I'll give you the invoice for my call today and he charged me $110.00 I asked why this amount? They said that it was $55.00 for services call and $55,00 more for the ""diagnosis"" well...I want everyone out there who uses this company that I have never seen anything more absurd than these stupidities of charging you just because someone just showed up in your home without doing anything, and as they move one step into your home and check for your problem they charge you more. Bottom line I end up calling a licensed electrician who replaced the breaker box for $900.00 This is a bad company who is trying to rip people off. I am a single mother of two and I feel just when you go to the mechanic and they try to sell you staff you don't need for your car. I am an educated person and this people think I am some kind stupid just because I am female!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, and if you do, use a second opinion before you hire them

Wish I could get a phone call back.

Wish I could get a technician out to put freon in to cool our house that's been at 85+ degrees for the past 4 days.

Wish I could get an appointment to schedule installing the new air handler that's been available at the manufacturer for the past 3 days.

Very disappointed after years of having a maintenance service contact & now we can't get actual service done when we need it the most.

Do yourself a favor and call someone else! *****Our a/c quit working on 7/17/17. We called Promag after hours to repair. Stephen arrived at 7:35pm. He spent about 30 minutes working on the unit to replace a start/run capacitor. He told us that our unit was in bad shape and we need to replace the whole thing. Bad compressor, amping too high and it could completely go out any day. We have a 2005 Trane. He quoted us a replacement unit @ $7,400.00. He then presented us with a bill for $441.00. Whoa! Didn't expect that! After he left we did some investigating.. The part he replaced was about a $30..00 part. They charged us $331.00 for the part. We got a referral to a different a/c company from a co-worker. They came out and checked out our a/c unit. Everything he told us was a lie!!! We work hard for our money and this company basically stole from us, I will never use this company again and I hope that I can save someone some heartache, aggravation and $$$$$$$.

Totally clueless, I guess if the problem is obvious and doesn't require thinking, they might be ok but my problem wasn't obvious and the person who came to work on the issue obviously didn't have a clue. He was doing the type of stuff I would do and I'm far from an electrician, it's like he had no training at all. I know more about basic electrical wiring than this person.

Just an absolutely terrible experience with this company! Unprofessional shysters! Won't repair, just recommend hugely costly replacement.

My AC unit to my children's bedrooms went out the evening of July 3rd. I found a full pan of water under the unit and wanted professional help to ensure it was repaired properly. I called the installing company who answered but were closed July 4th. This was my big mistake - I used Thumbtack to search for local HVAC repair companies and this company answered the phone right away and offered to schedule an appointment on July 4th but at double the usual rare - $110 in this case. My window was 8-12 on July 4th for service. By noon no one had called or arrived and I called the service, they answered and said they had been busy but would be by around 2-3pm. A ""senior"" HVAC technician Stephan arrived around 2:45 and proceeded to tell me that he couldn't do much because he had a new truck which was empty and contained essentially no equipment other than his gauges. He went to the condensers and hooked up his equipment and was checking initially all the units except the one which wasn't running. He pointed out some readings on the gauges and told me the unit that was running was bad. I directed him to the clearly non functioning unit and he did nothing. I took him to the attic to inspect the air handler which he simply looked at without inspecting and walked away stating the attic was too hot and he didn't have any tools. I was left with a non functioning unit and $110 bill with a promise to come back the next day. I spent the evening with a ShopVac vacuuming out the drain line and pan beneath the unit and it turned back on. I was worried that there was still a problem and these guys came back the next day when I was back at work - I though this would be a routine visit at this point but it was anything but.

They proceeded to do a leak test which resulted in a recommendation that the coil needed replacing on two units and the compressor on another - now this was on units I hadn't even called them about. They quoted repair cost of $7929.15 for two coils and a compression or replacement cost of $19,325.15 for two new units and a new compressor. At this point the original unit I had called them about was still not working. We were aghast at the cost and told them we wanted a second opinion - at this point the estimates were taken bac, we were treated rudely and they came up with an outrageous bill for $1402 for service for two leaks tests at a phenomenal $330 each and putting T's on the drain lines for future flushing at $150 each - no Freon, no working unit!!

My second opinion came out had me up and running in one visit, repaired the coil leak and recharged the units, charged $35 for a leak test and $5/pound for 22 pounds of refrigerant - a huge difference in price. They couldn't believe the shoddy service this company had provided.
