I booked a house painting job and had a family emergency and cancelled the agreement 3 business days after the agreement and one week before the start date. The company kept the $1000 deposit and refused to refund it. Which was more than double the state required deposit based on the quote. I have filed a compliant with the State Contractor Licensing Board. I would rethink working with them.

I received a bid for painting the interior of my home which consisted of materials, labor and a $250 ""Admin Fee"". The Admin fee was, and I quote from the bid, ""Office services, scheduling and overseeing the project, assisting with local government officials"". Hmmm. Labor is $85/hr. I had some roofing issues after a horrible wind and asked for a bid on that separately. Contacted the office and an appointment was made. Employee was ""no call, no show"". Excuse was the internet went down and they were not onlilne until late in the day. I had to call them th next day to find out what happened. Made a second appointment and same thing, ""no call, no show"". I left a message after hours stating I was extremely irritated and asked for a phone call the following day as to what their excuse was this time. Three weeks later and I have not heard from this company. I could hardly recommend this Pro V Construction for any type of home repair, painting, etc. I found another company whose bid was $500 cheaper, they helped me with sample paint colors on my walls so I could make a better decision and had excellent advice. Say NO to Pro V construction

When I decided to paint my house exterior last month, I talked with my neighbors and found two had used Pro-V and highly recommended them. This week, Pro-V just finished painting my home and I could not be more pleased with the result. Not only was the paint job perfect, but the paint crew was highly professional, always masked, and a joy to work with. Along with my two neighbors, I highly recommend them.

The paint job was sub par, they painted on the edges of my windows, over sprayed onto my brand new pool deck, didn't prep properly, and missed a ton of areas. The worst part, however, is when they did additional work without my consent (neither written nor verbal) and then tried to charge me 3X industry standard after the fact. I've done a ton of remodels, in fact, my father is a contractor, and I've never, in my life, dealt with something like this. I've attached images of the kind of work that was done at my house, just so you know that I'm not making this up, because I'm sure they will try to reply and somehow make themselves sound reputable. I would love to include snapshots of our emails and text exchanges where the head of the company says ""I'm sorry if I gave you the impression that you were my only customer."" But I don't believe in exposing personal conversations. This is after I asked him if he would please be able to send me quote for the additional work. Ironically that was his reply before proceeding to then do the work without my permission. After various email communications that went unanswered by their office, they then decided to send me threatening emails about overdue payments. Apparently I had to pay them before the work was actually completed? They were far more worried about collecting payment on sub par work than they were about actually finishing the job with any integrity.

At the end of the day, I paid them just to make it all go away. They agreed to only charge me labor on the unauthorized work, when realistically they have no claim to any payment whatsoever.

The lack of professionalism, complete apathy, and apparent entitlement that I encountered is bewildering. As a business owner myself, I'm actually appalled with their customer service. This, after giving them thousands of dollars of my hard earned money during a pandemic.

The sad part of all of this is, I gave them numerous times to make this situation right. To send me a professional and respectful reply. To address not only the incomplete paint job, but also the lack of customer service. But they never did. I'm all about offering companies a second chance... I believe in that 100%. But this company simply did not care, and that was the worst part of my experience.

We just had our home's exterior painted last week. The work that Leo and his crew did was excellent. They were very punctual, took pride in their workmanship and clean up on a daily basis was impeccable. Also great job on draping everything with no damage to the surrounding landscape. They also replaced the fascia in the front and rear of the home. Looks like new!! I am a DIY'r and do nearly all repairs myself, but after seeing the work he did on a friend of ours residence, I was very impressed with the quality of work he did on their home so had him do ours and couldn't be happier.

Leo and his crew were very accommodating, polite and professional.

Our remodeled Palm Desert home looks brand new! I'm so proud to show off my new kitchen, master bath and guest bathroom! The entire inside was replastered and there isn't an untouched surface inside or out, including a beautiful new roof. Though we started our project through Lowe's, we had Leo do several other projects aftward. While any construction project has problems, ProV was quick to fix the problem and easy to contact. I love Leo! He and all of the craftsmen were courteous and hard working.

We recently had our house fully remodeled with Leo and Abel and the crew at Pro V Construction. We had our kitchen and bathrooms fully redone as well as new electrical, flooring, plumbing, windows, and painting. We choose to stay in our home during the remodel and can tell you, without hesitation, that Leo and his crew exceeded our expectations. The communication levels and scheduling of employees and subcontractors are what brought our project together ahead of schedule. The employees and subcontractors were efficient and highly skilled and it definitively shows in the quality workmanship throughout our home. We feel very fortunate to have found Pro V Construction and found it to be a positive experience each time we spoke with Leo and Abel. Pro V absolutely earned a five star rating and we consider ourselves very lucky homeowners.

Judy,
Nice try in your response. Pro V worked at our place for 3 weeks before the permit was issued. Carmen responded via email to our request to see the permit before it was issued saying that it was a job in process and didn't need to be there until the completion of the project. In California the permit needs to be issued before the work begins.
We denied access only AFTER we figured out what was going on.
Leo moved gas lines, moved electric wires and hid open electrical junction boxes behind walls that he sheet rocked over and behind cabinets. Clearly he had no intention of getting that inspected. The errors in installing the cabinets are because the stamped plans from the county were not on the job site because they were not issued yet. (another California requirement) We, the homeowner called for a county inspection whereas 4 corrections were written up. With no permit and no inspections, we immediately knew that we did not want Pro V back in our home. The new contractor after Pro V was fired opened up the walls, uninstalled the cabinets, and had to repair all of your damage and have it inspected. I did not unfairly characterize Leo. He is a jerk and a liar and did nothing but yell at us for asking questions. Now we know why. We have before photos, during the project photos and after photos that clearly tell the story. Leo did not know we were taking photos. Thankfully we did as our home would have been a fire hazard had we not discovered Leo's dishonesty. Don't blame this on Lowes. It was your team at the site doing the work and lying to us. We have been told that LaQuinta Lowes has dismissed you as a contractor. Hopefully that is true. You should be out of business not just dismissed. You are either the most uninformed CEO or you can't distinguish reality from fiction. Or you are just trying to save your reputation that is fast going downhill.

I had a horrible experience with this company! I endured a lot of lies and damage to my home. There is no concern about quality and the cheapest materials were used. When I asked for the damaged items to be repaired or a credit to my bill, so I could have someone else repair them, I was sued for full payment! 4 months later my house still stinks of the cheap paint used and it makes me upset every time I enter my home! To say Pro V was disappointing is an understatement. Despite the great first meeting where you feel you are getting involved with an ethical family run business, the reality is far different.
This is my truth and I felt obligated to share so hopefully this company will change their ways or other home owners will not go through the same experience. It's very difficult living with the damages in my house but I can't afford to fix it right now. Very sad about this.
