Tried to get a quote for a small job. Provided broad strokes of what I need done and Ian asked to speak with me. I provided my availability to speak on the phone and he fell off the face of the earth. If Ian can't figure out how to call WHEN HE WANTED TO SPEAK ON THE PHONE, how could anyone trust him to do a job well?

I have had two experiences with Ian. The power in my house was flickering and I called Ian and described the problem. He suggested that I call the power utility since he thought that the problem was not in my house's breakers/circuits. He was right and his experience honesty saved me the expense of a house call. The second time I needed him he came out right away and fixed the 3 issues that I had and charged a very reasonable price. He and his assistant couldn't have been nicer. I had Upstate Electrical Solutions come out to look at a new 120 amp circuit and outlet... After looking at the current wiring Ian (the owner) told me that we already had the correct wiring needed and only had to switch out the outlet. Since he was here I asked if he could install a new LED light in our basement. That was not a problem... He did it pretty quick and only charge his standard fee.. My wife and I have been looking for a good electrician who does great work and charges a fair price. I feel we have found that in Upstate Electrical Solutions.
