weeks behind schedule, $4k over budget, with a completely trashed home, inexplicably damaged landscaping, STILL NO ELECTRICITY AFTER OVER A MONTH and no end date in view(!!!), I can VERY confidently say DO NOT HIRE THEM. we experienced Ruben as defensive, sloppy, and deceitful, and he greatly overpromised work he could not actually accomplish. Jose was rarely on site and seemed just as full of excuses. we are now unable to move into our home due to their inability to complete the work they promised us in the timeline we agreed upon and paid for. absolutely the worst possible outcome. big yikes. so unprofessional.

Ruben literally broke one of our light fixtures, broke glass into the landscaping, and said ""you weren't going to use that anyway, right?"" this crap would be hilarious as a sitcom but it sucks as a life experience. THEY DID EVERY SINGLE THING WRONG. and now we have to hire someone to fix their mistakes on a rush deadline! and these people tell me I'm ""being rude"" for demanding a deadline that they finish work that was SUPPOSED to be LAST MONTH. wow. this crappy behavior is why I quit teaching middle school.

Having an electrician that you can count on is a big asset to have for your house. Jose is always on time, great follow up, offers a great value, and really handy for all of our electrical needs. Started out with one job and then became a whole lot more in the following months and years. We have used Prime Voltage Electric for the lighting on our bar, lighting on kitchen island, adding electrical outlets, hanging lights, hanging chandeliers, adding a new electrical panel, adding Google Nest smoke detectors and more.

I have my EV charger installed by Joseph ,at firsts I was apprehensive but I prove myself wrong,I was so impressed by his work ethic ,now a days it's hard to find good workers too much drama ,he is very knowledgeable and very confident with what he is doing,was not really worried ,usually I watch what he is doing but not this guyI did not have to breath on his neck ,definitely will hire him again in future projects,I highly recommend him for your electrical work ,thanks again and happy Father's Day to Joseph...

Prime Voltage Electric did a great job on our garage conversion ADU. He was fast to visit our home and provide a competitive proposal. Jose and his team worked quickly to complete the full job. They also were flexible to accommodate additional tasks that came up during the project.

Great experience overall, they were very professional and let me know exactly when they were coming. They fixed my EV outlet and replaced the plug on my charger cord. The job was done well and efficiently at a very reasonable price. I would recommend them and definitely call them again in the future.

Long story short Jose was in my list of ADU contractors to refer to homeowners that get in contact with me to help them build their ADUs. Be careful with Jose the first time he ghosted I thought it might just be a mistake. As the saying goes Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I will no longer have Jose in my referral network unfortunately he is not reliable.

We cannot recommend Prime Voltage Electric enough. We had never built before and were tackling owner-building two ADUs in Inglewood on our own. My fiancé stumbled upon Jose and he was the most fair bid after getting many from other licensed electricians.

It should be telling that after finishing the ADUs, we decided to build a custom home for ourselves and from the onset, there was no question about who we were going to contract for our electrical - there was no other choice than Jose. We honestly didn't even care to get multiple bids this time the way we did with all the other trades; we asked Jose outright to do our electrical as we knew from direct experience via the ADUs that he would give us the same high-quality work once again without gauging us on pricing.

It has been an absolute pleasure to work with him - he is very thorough and does immaculate work while being both professional and communicative - and we highly recommend him each and every time friends or coworkers of ours reach out to ask about how to start building an ADU themselves. So far he has done a garage conversion, a 600 sqft new construction, and a 4,100 sqft new construction for us, which speaks to his sheer depth of experience.
