Horrible customer service! Unresponsive, uncooperative, and unapologetic. I wanted an appraisal of the electrical panel at a property I was purchasing, so I scheduled an appointment with the electrician (Wil) for 10:30 AM on a Monday, took a half-day off work to be there across town (with my realtor), and got there at 10:24 AM only to find a door tag saying I missed my appointment and to schedule another one. I called to ask what happened and only got, ""Yeah, Wil keeps his own time, even though we tell him you need to keep an appointment."" So, this is obviously a known problem that they just don't care about. No thanks, I'll be going elsewhere. Clearly, I can't speak to their electric abilities, since they won't be doing any work for me.

They did an amazing job in installing a very complicated, 300+ piece crystal glass chandelier. They even installed a dimmer and switched the electrical outlets to match the new plate and the entire installation. Unfortunately, my iPhone camera doesn't have enough pixels to capture how it really looks...

I am so pleased with the professionalism of Preston-Link. I called them to fix what another electrician messed up: the installation and wiring of a standby generator. They straightened out the miswired elements and took good care to get it done right. It took that other guy MONTHS to mess up the job. James and his assistant at Preston-Link straightened it out in a few hours. I will use Preston-Link for all my household and rental property electrical needs.

The best electrical service in Gainesville! We've used them twice, and both times the service was BEYOND prompt, as well as being top-quality work at a price that was very fair. We had a problem with a circuit breaker in our master bath. Matt from Preston Link came out and determined that the problem was actually with our instant-hot, tankless water heater. Since he didn't replace or repair anything, HE WOULDN'T TAKE ANY MONEY from us! He referred us to a great plumber, and we ended up replacing our water heater. Preston Link came out to do some necessary electrical work in conjunction with the installation, and did a fine job, done TO CODE.

Preston Link sent two guys out on each job they did at our home, and everyone we encountered was extremely nice and courteous. I can't say enough good things about this company - I wouldn't call anyone else, and neither should you.
