I learned electricity at trade school and graduated with a financial aid to Bessemer State Technical Institute. I gained experience with several electrical contractors in the Birmingham area while completing my apprenticeship and journeyman training. I met the state criteria of work hours and could sit for the exam for Master electrician, passing on my first go.
