I took courses in electricity at vocational school and graduated with a financial aid to Bessemer Technical College. I was employed with several electrical contractors in Birmingham while finalizing my apprenticeship and journeyman training. I met the state criteria of hours and was able to take the exam for Master Electrician, achieving a passing score on my first attempt.
