We have spent over $35k with this company on 2 new units and pay them annually for inspections and ""priority"" service. We have been without our main ac unit since Saturday--they had told us they would be here today @ 2pm. It was pushed back to 4:30, then received a text at 5pm that they would need to reschedule. When we called, they said they would ""try"" to get here tomorrow. The ""gentleman"" we spoke with was rude and clearly just wanted to get us off the phone even though we first called them on Saturday. Another day of my husband cancelling his work schedule and waiting around for them to show up. Clearly the owner needs to revamp his customer service.

We had Preferred Home Services come and do an A/C checkup before the extreme temperatures started. It was the most extensive and complete review of a system we have ever had on 5 homes. The technician explained everything so we could understand each component's condition. As our system is going on 11 years, we won't be replacing any parts until needed. We will be getting an estimate for a new system as we don't like surprises. As usual, we are totally satisfied with the service from Preferred Home Services.

This company cancels at the last minute and tried to make me reschedule to another week. Would have believed it was because of emergencies that popped up and technicians that called in sick if they hadn't done it to my friend the week before after already making her reschedule for the same reason. Can't have the same reason for not showing up multiple weeks in a row and make customers constantly take time from work to not even have someone show up.

Fast service. I had a simple repair. The diagnostic took an hour. Was super expensive. I didn't want a pitch for membership, I just needed a minor repair. The repairman was great. Too expensive.

Writing this review on behalf of my retired mother. They took advantage of an older woman who lives alone and then tried to do it again when their shotty work got called out. Don't use this company!

Unfortunately my mother's hot water heat broke and her two children do not live in the same state and could not help. I give my mother credit, she shopped around and found a company she thought she could trust to install a tankless water heater. New water heater works fine, but 2.5yrs later my mother goes to sell her home and the home inspector hits her on incorrect wiring for the hot water heater. Turns out they didn't wire the new unit to its own breaker, they just connected it via an extension cord to an outlet.

When she called to have the issue corrected, the company first told her to pay $300 just to have someone look at the issue, then after some back and forth, the manager, Jamaal, said he would do her a favor and only charge her $300 to fix their mistake and add the necessary breaker. This was after Jamaal said that even though the manufacturer said it needed a dedicated breaker, it really didn't need one, but wouldn't put that in writing. My mom was feed up and said she would have to reach out to BBB and a lawyer because this only an issue because they didn't do the contracted work correctly/to code. Jamaal said he didn't need to listen to her and hung up the phone on her.

That should tell you all you need to know about their shotty work and even worse customer service.

Had our water heater replaced today. While our technician did a great job, whoever was in charge of getting him the new water heater delivered dropped the ball. They brought two separate units that were not usable and he ended up going and getting it himself at Lowe's. 10/10 would recommend William. He was great, it just took all day because of the issues. I do appreciate that it is same day service though!

I received a quote to vacuum the lines of a mini split I installed. They were priced much higher than the unit cost and it was only a 15 minute job! The time it took to come out and give an estimate was a waste considering how specific I was to the job. I purchased my own vacuum for 1/5 the cost they quoted and completed the job myself. Way to try and rip people off!

I told them we had a home warranty and they said they don't work with warranty companies but I could send the bill to them. The tech was here for hours trying to fix our heat then Said had to order a part to fix it. Ended up being charged over $2200 just before Christmas and then our warranty company would not cover it. Said they did unnecessary repairs. Do not use this company they will steal your money!
