This review is long overdue. However, it's also still relevant because the work Carlton did for me has held up, beautifully, for the last 11+ years.

Carlton answered the phone on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and came out that same day...the day before Thanksgiving...and replaced the deadbolt on my front door after my cottage had been burgled.

My only regret is that this review has been sitting in my Yelp account, for the past 6 years, unfinished. My apologies to Carlton for that awful oversight on my part. He deserves more than the 5 stars Yelp affords.

Carlton arrived on time and installed a toilet and did some plumbing tasks for me. Very nice guy. I should have gotten a qoute for the job prior instead of billed at an hourly rate afterward$!

Carlton is a gem! Highly professional, and really knows his craft. He hung a ceiling fan, and lighting fixture, and a heavy mirror for us. He wa very very thoughtful and made sure to check in with me every step of the way.

I will absolutely call Carlton the next time I need his handy help!

I highly recommend Carlton. He's very professional and a man of his word. His prices are reasonable for the quality of his work. His attention to detail is on point. He had all the tools necessary to do all the jobs I needed done around my house. He does his profession well. Please be patient because he's worth the wait. He's a one man team. He's a well rounded handyman. He won't leave your property until you're completely satisfied with his work. He has a guarantee on his craftsmanship and that's a plus. He hung ceiling fans, light fixtures, shelves, switched light switches and installed a walk-in closet for me. I'm so satisfied that I'm having him to come back to complete some additional projects.

That is usually expected but given the booming economy most handyman services don't bother getting back to you. I will be reaching out to him for future needs. Very organized as well.

I had Carlton install a door for me a while back - forgot to leave a review! He did good work, but most notable was the fact that even though he charges by the hour, he was immediately upfront about an unexpected problem he ran into while sizing my door and didn't charge for the extra hour it took to resolve. Recommended.

Carlton is always on time and takes great pride in getting it right. If he cannot perform the work, he lets you know up front. I highly recommend him for any handyman project.

Was looking for a door repair person. He said he would come between 1-2. At 12:58 he called and said he couldn't, would 3-4 work? So I agreed and by 4:15 no call, no show and didn't answer phone. Don't bother.
