Carlton has now been to our home twice to fix multiple repairs, each job rightfully lasting several hours. He was able to fix almost every single one of them including: washer/dryer hookup replacements, toilet hookup replacements, balcony doors not locking, door weather strippers, stove burners not working, patching up holes in walls and painting, and a bunch of other small jobs as well. He did not hesitate to let me know where there was something he would not be able to fix: baseboard heaters not turning on for instance. And for that, he deferred me to an electrician. I did not mind at all, and was grateful that he saved me time in not trying to mess with it himself.

He has a reasonable price and excellent work demeanor. Very kind, very honest and shows up exactly on time. I definitely recommend him for any general handywork that you need done!

Carlton was responsive over email, showed up on time, worked quickly, and was capable of doing the variety of tasks I had for him (door hanging/adjustment, installing window blinds, base molding, wall patching, fabricating custom window screens, caulking, painting). The work quality was good. He was very professional and an all-around likable guy. I don't normally have good experiences with contractors, but I'd hire Carlton again for sure.

Carlton is a really great and knowledgeable guy! I had him over to install a bathroom fan for us. He was very quick and thorough in his pre-visit email communication (telling us which fan he recommends, how long he thought the job would take, etc.). He came on time, hung plastic around the bathroom, and got right to work. In a few hours we had a working bathroom fan AND a space left without debris (thanks to his set up!). Carlton came recommended by a friend, and I will be recommending him to others.

Hooray for Carlton! Based on Yelp reviews, I called him to come help with a number of jobs around our house. He told me what he could and couldn't do, and told me his rate. He showed up right on time and got started. Given how efficient he is, and how professional his work quality is, I felt like it was a bargain. He fixed a door, uninstalled a TV and then reinstalled it in a new location, patched a wall beautifully, hung pictures, and a few other things. We couldn't be happier with his work.

This was a great experience. Carlton was a pleasure to have in my home, pleasant, efficient and really really good at what he does. I had him fix my walls after very old tile was removed. He was good at estimating the time it would take to complete the job, called when he was running late while he stopped to pick up additional supplies, and offered to use his shoe covers within seconds of entering my home. The work looks great! The cost was very reasonable. Setting up the appointment was easy as well. I would use Carlton again in a heartbeat.

Carleton is an excellent handyman with skills in many areas. He diagnosed and repaired a leak in the kitchen sink, (not the faucet I was blaming). It was a 30 year old garbage disposal which he removed, installing leak-free new plumbing hardware. I was especially impressed by his thoroughness in detecting and correcting the small leaks that result from new pipe installation until the job was done right. I am leak-free. He also removed a large unsafe mirror from a wall and is fixing the old glitchy doorbell. Carleton worked clean, smart and hard. As other reviewers have noted he is also very polite and professional. Carlton is truly as good as it gets! I had a number of small jobs on the agenda and thought that it would take him about 4-6 hours. He completed everything in 3. He is not always able to fit you into his schedule in 24 hours, but good things come to those who wait! He is courteous, kind, and competant.
