We chose Precision Electric as we live in Livermore (so aim to support our local mechanics). We had a very odd situation with an entire wall of outlets blown out in our kitchen. I consider myself to be really very mechanical, but was stumped. In retrospect, I feel a little sheepish because the solution was so obvious. I phoned Mark, (cell phone so I got him immediately), and before he even agreed to come visit, he insisted we ""walk through"" and rule out possible scenarios in order to eliminate what the problem could possibly be. Turned out (I surmised) I had dripped water from our pull-out kitchen faucet onto the electrical plug, when I was filling the tank of our coffee machine. My bad. So the Ground Fault Circuit Interruption outlet did its thing, and I had not even noticed it because that particular outlet has a lamp and a phone plugged in there. I put the phone down, went back to the kitchen, and lo and behold, that was the solution. I cleared and then reset the GFCI button, and that fixed the problem. I asked Mark if I owed him anything, and he said no, so I am ever so grateful for this three-minute fix over the phone. What a great guy! Precision Electric is now our electrician for this household. Considering this era of messing with people and taking advantage of them, this was a great experience from a fine, upstanding electrician. Couldn't ask for more.

We had just bought our house and wanted to upgrade into a Hot Tub and Cook Island. After interviewing several contractors we decided upon Mark. He seemed to understand what we wanted done, and suggested a plan which we talked over and came to agreement. He explained every question I had concerning the proposed work, and even gave tips to help deal with the 2 vendors. He was prompt for appointments, and even filled the Tub on the day he hooked it all up. We are planning more work in the future and will be calling Mark first.

Very good at what he does. We are very pleased with him. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He was here last night, cleaned up after himself left everything in order. Hard worker.

On June 21, 2012 Mark Kilbane corrected the wiring on the receptacles in our home garage, added more outlets (inside and out) and did new wiring and new outlet boxes for exterior lighting. Mark does outstanding work and he does it himself. He is a perfectionist, with high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. I would definitely use Precision Electric again and would recommend Mark to family and friends.

We've used Precision Electric twice in the last couple of years. The first job was extensive and required someone willing to fulfill an unconventional request for outdoors. The reviews were all positive so I took their word and hired Mark. He did an outstanding job. Then recently, we needed work done and he managed to get us set up perfectly even with some complicated maneuvering. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, showed up on time and finished both jobs to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Mark. There's no question that we'll call on him again if we need more work done.

I asked Precision Electric to come out and estimate some ""little"" problems in a house I just purchased. When Mark Kilbane gave me the written estimate I'm quite sure he didn't know it was the Amityville house. The previous owners had done a lot of their own electrical work and the house if filled with what Mark politely called ""interesting"" choices in electrical design. No matter, Mark came in and fixed the problems, installed the new stuff, and smiled while he did it. It took extra time to exorcise some of the demons, but Mark stuck with it until the house was clean. After he left he even emailed me to see if I had figured out a problem with a fixture that was malfunctioning -- it wasn't his responsibility, but he took an interest anyway. Oh, and he also sent a written receipt for his work.

The good news (or bad news) is that there is plenty more to be done.

I had some recessed lighting installed in the master bedroom and had all the hard-wired smoke alarms replaced throughout the house.

Mark did an excellent job. His cost was less than his quote, which he was able to do over the phone. He answered my call immediately so we didn't have to play phone tag.

He cleaned up after his work and didn't leave a trace. t wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

I found Mark on Yelp and called him to install recessed lighting and ceiling fans in two bedrooms. Dealing with Mark was a pure pleasure, he returned my enquiry promptly, and was able to quote me over the phone. He was punctual, professional, cleaned up after himself and did a GREAT job. His pricing was better than others I called from Yelp and I will not hesitate to call him again. His work was first class and I have now found my ""go to"" electrician. Do yourself a favor and call Mark first!

Mark is my third electrician and he totally Rocks! My regular electrician who I also think is wonderful, was not available and I was on a tight timeline. I called Mark yesterday and he called me back the same day and came over this morning to put in two new light units in my in process updated bathroom. He was delightful, efficient, fare, and fast - a real winner. I have a visiting handyman who knows lots about building and he commented that Mark's work is excellent. His price was very fair. He will be my number 1 referral and will definitely call him first for my next electrical project. Great guy who does great work. Go Mark! Go Precision Electric. They are just that!
