David S.I asked Yelp for a quote for adding a box in the ceiling for a fan I stated I didn't need a switch because the fan had pull chains. . This is the shitty response I got from these guys:

By requirements code you need a disconnect switch
Second:
For installing ceiling fan required boxes is not two gang box(outlet box)
And you can not tell any electrician to what to do because you are NOT an electrician and we are responsible for any big or small works.
