I asked Yelp for a quote for adding a box in the ceiling for a fan I stated I didn't need a switch because the fan had pull chains. . This is the shitty response I got from these guys:
Hi
First:
By requirements code you need a disconnect switch
Second:
For installing ceiling fan required boxes is not two gang box(outlet box)

And you can not tell any electrician to what to do because you are NOT an electrician and we are responsible for any big or small works.

Notified me early they would be a few minutes late, but when I went out to look they were already at work preparing the location for the work. Job was well done, no sloppy work and good attention to details. Wired it with extra legs in case we choose to add to the box later. No hidden costs, the quoted estimate was what we paid. Very happy with the work.

Watch out for these guys and there hidden fees. I requested a quote and said I needed it done tonight. I received a flat rate cost for the move. When I confirmed that it could be done tonight he said yes for a extra $100.00

Adel was a great electrician. My power cable and wirings around the house blew up, but he was able to find the issue and resolve the conflict. He was very productive and wasted no time to find the issue. He worked at a very fast pace with his assistant and I strongly recommend you to meet with him, if there are first-timers. The pricing was very fair for the most part, not an arm or a leg.

Let's just say, if I had an issue like this again, I would call him again. He offers a variety of resources around the house and is very credible. Thank you, Adel and assistant!

Sent an apprentice to do the job. He was way out of his depth and wired the electrical outlet wrong (reverse) so the garbage disposal would be permanently on if plugged in and did not listen so where we wanted the switch for a ceiling light. Cut three holes in our new drywall and paint to do the job. Took all day for extremely poor results. Left a huge mess.
