All around just good people. My AC cut off one evening and I was expecting a house full of family. I called these guys and since it was a Sunday night there wasn't anyone available. I offered to pay extra to get someone to come out since I was expecting a lot of people. I believe the owner himself came and checked it out. He was so nice and understanding. Turns out it was something really minor and he was able to get the AC back on ASAP.

This company has extremely poor communication and scheduling skills. The two gentleman that arrived for my appointment 30 minutes late were nice, but were not prepared. One took a scrap piece of paper from my job site to write down the long list of electrical needs I needed quoted. He told me my estimate would be sent the falling morning. I received no estimate and left a message (and an email) for the owner who never returned my initial call. I called twice a few days later and left multiple messages and the owner finally graced me with a phone call. We went over his quote and I told him I would call him the next day to schedule. I called and left another message and never heard anything again.

This is case of a small business overextending themselves and (potential) customers suffer. After I received quotes from other electricians I also realized Powers price gauges. For the same scope of work I saved $1200 from multiple, well-reviewed master electricians in the Smyrna area. There are plenty of electricians in this area and I have had better luck with communication and pricing elsewhere. If you need a recommendation feel free to message me.

Reached out to Powers Electrical and they sent out an electrician right away. Greg was professional and very efficient. He was so nice and knew exactly what the issue was and fixed it in no time (GFCI adapter plug tripping constantly). I have had two opportunities to use them and would highly recommend them. I had them install canned lighting in my living room, and they did a great job. When I needed two ceiling fans installed in a den and a bedroom, I didn't hesitate to call them again. They are prompt, courteous, and neat. It is never more than a couple of days after I call them until they are onsite. I thought their pricing was very reasonable. I will continue to use them in the future.

Brandon came out to install a Nema 14-50 outlet in our garage and did a wonderful job. He was very personable, friendly, professional, and got the job done right. My husband and I both agree that he did exceptional work. If we ever have any more electrical needs, we'll definitely give Powers Electrical another ring :)

The best service and pricing In the Atlanta area. I found my go to guys for electrical work. They were super nice. They even changed my front porch light bulbs for me because they noticed when they came up I had some that were out. Will be calling them back to have them do the bathroom lighting. I had Paul come out and give me an estimate. I went and bought the fans and tried to schedule and appointment and was not successful. I had family coming in town so i asked them to come install atleast 2 of the 5 fans. the other 3 would be installed at a later date per the dispatcher. installation of the first 2 fans went great. the gentleman on call was very nice, I paid him for 2 of the fans. a few weeks later i asked them to come install the rest and they couldn't find an appointment for me. Finally, they sent a new person, who supposedly does whole home electrical work and was not happy that he had to install fans. The guy asked my husband if we wanted the fans flush or downrod, husband said we will match the 2 already installed (downrod). The guy installed them flush mount. When I asked he said my husband told him to do flush mount. He forgot I was standing right there when we said we want the downrod. When it came time for payment, Paul wanted me to pay more than what was quoted because they had to make 2 trips. I paid what was on the quote. I noticed after he left that the downrods that came with the fan were missing. Today I found out that he didn't even attach all the screws that came with the fan. Whether the screws were necessary or not, I hired a company so they could do the job right.

Needless to say I am very disappointed by the service.

I read the nice reviews on Powers Electric so I gave them a try. Unfortunately I did not have the same results. My initial call was answered promptly and a person was dispatched. The estimate that he gave me included outside lighting which I already had. I called back and spoke to Paul and he came over to look at the problem. He assured me he could fix it and he would get right back to me with an estimate. I have called and called and emailed and emailed and have never heard back from him. Needless to say, I will not be using them again or recommending them!
