Caught with no electricity following a torrential storm, the generator did not start. Late Friday, when I contacted powerhouse and technician Wayne Young responded within an hour. He fix the problem temporarily, but what was more notable was his attitude in making sure I was all right, that I had power in the house, and that everything, including my elevator was rebooted and working before he left. His kindness and caring attitude were exceptional. He also rebooked another appointment the following week during which he solved the real problem, obviously unwilling to leave until he was satisfied this would not happen again. My assessment of the competence and kindness of the technicians is what keeps me dealing with powerhouse electric, and encourages me to recommend it to my friends as well. You don't find service people so proud of their work as you do here.

Outrageous charged me 350 for an estimate... Then quoted the work to be done at over ten thousand more then others with free estimate... Very Unhappy with the scare tactics used to scare us into insane cost of work and services that are exorbitant.

Upon arrival to install a basic $140 ceiling fan, the technician asked for $350. I saw this as an exorbitant charge. I made phone calls, wrote a letter, sent text and emails. they never got back to me. I've spent thousands of dollars with PowerHouse and have a service contract.
I felt like I was taken advantage of.
I'm done with them.

Powerhouse is a fantastic business. We purchased a Generator from them before IAN slammed our house and destroyed all our belongings, house and Cars. Powerhouse actually cared. They came out and fixed everything within a week. Their warranty and their Maintenance contract is a must have. They actually came out yesterday and changed the oil on the generator. I didn't even realize a generator had oil! I highly recommend them to anyone

am disappointed to have to leave this review. I have tried for the past 5 mos to resolve the issue with powerhouse but have been given the runaround with no call back or follow up since they were unable to resolve the problem.
After purchasing an expensive whole house generator and purchasing a service contract three years ago, not only does the generator not work ( which we unfortunately realized during hurricane Ian) but they have failed miserably in meeting their obligation re the service agreement. They have sent out a ""service technician"" several times who was unable to fix the problem even while being coached by a supervisor over the phone. I have called numerous times to speak with a manager or owner and have been told they are busy and would get back to me. That has never occurred.
Finally, I reached out to the Cummins corporate office and was told that Powerhouse Electric is no longer an authorized Cummins dealer. The Cummins representative was able to refer me to an authorized Cummins dealer who was immediately responsive and set up an appointment.
It saddens me to leave this review but I am hopeful that I can prevent this nightmare from happen to someone else. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Bruno was very responsive to my needs in the fact that he arrived within 24 hours of my call, found the problem quickly and gave me several options to correct the problem. Unfortunately, they all involved replacing my entire outside panel, as a bus bar was compromised due to loose connection. I really can't afford the over $4,000 replacement cost, but it was the lowest option.

I sure wish there was a way to simply repair the problem, but Bruno offered none.

A few months ago we had Bruno come out to put up 3 ceiling fans with lights, a chandelier and hanging lights above our bar. He did wonderful and the price was reasonable. This time we had him come out because we really like him to do about 3 out door electrical projects. Prices have gone up since we had last had him out. Hurricane Ian etc really has affected all businesses around us. We really wanted to go with Bruno and Powerhouse Electric but unfortunately due to the price increase we decided not to go with them.

I had an appointment for an oil change on my Generac generator. Powerhouse failed to show up and did not call. Fast forward 2 weeks later and the same situation, no show, no call. This oil change was part of my contract when I bought the generator. Legally, one party's failure to fulfill any of its contractual obligations is known as a ""breach"" of the contract. Depending on the specifics, a breach can occur when a party fails to perform on time, does not perform in accordance with the terms of the agreement, or does not perform at all.

Unbelievable NEGLIGENCE...Repeated Generator Failures! Now power is out and generator is blowing hot oil all over the system. NO RETURN PHONE CALLS...They CANNOT even get the final permit fr City of Naples due to repeated violations. Worse, in 2 emergency situations, THEY IGNOR PHONE CALLS ...We are filling suit Monday on grounds of REPEATED Negligence with well documented, photographed and substantial evidence / proof.
