Frank came with Miguel to help solve some electrical wiring issues in our townhome. We have a few 4-way switch configurations that the builder had not wired correctly which he solved without any issues, and this was with including smart switches that were not originally made to accommodate 4-way switch patterns, but was successful by using a traditional switch as the 3rd switch. We also had a nonfunctioning switch/recessed light in the upstairs master bedroom which he was able to access our attic and figure out that once again the builder had not completely finished the wiring.
He was able to solve things that a general contractor or handyman couldn't figure out. We are so thankful for him! He was very good in explaining the issues and what he did to solve them. He was really friendly, honest, and overall very helpful.
Prices are competitive. The hourly rate seems to be fairly similar and within the ballpark of other quotes that I've received with other local electricians. And for someone like Frank, it was worth it.

I've now hired Frank and his crew for two different projects. They've installed ground lights in the yard, new dimmers in the house, installed a bathroom exhaust fan, and an EV charger They found and replaced some old bad wiring in our kitchen that caused our lights to flicker. Frank even came back and replaced the EV charger when it turned out to be a defective unit. Above and beyond.

Power Up Electric is honest, reliable, highly skilled and even came in slightly lower than other bids. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Nothing more to add to an already solid 5-star rating! Frank and company came in replaced a lot of old wiring, added a subpanel and were outta there in two days with very little down time of no electricity. Clean, polite, and really know their stuff! Great pricing too.

The truth is I should've filed a police report and claim with the Better Business Bureau but I had a newborn and two toddlers and was renovating a house. Gabriel Chan came to pick up the remainder of his payment and when I told him I couldn't find the contract and asked how much I owed him he presented a document that he had clearly doctored up and added $1000 to. I found the original form and discovered that he had added another thousand dollars to it. He tried to rip me off. I wouldn't trust him at all.

I'm so thrilled with the work that Frank and his team did on my house recently. After a walkthrough where I described our needs, and concerns with the state of the wiring at our house, Frank accomplished the goals that I had in mind, and smartly set up junction boxes in anticipation of future plans that we have (based on our initial conversations during the walkthrough). Frank has the spirit of a designer and artist, as well as the technical knowhow to bring our desires into being.

(Backstory - I had another electrician come out for the same job initially, and gave them the same walkthrough - this guy actually kept suggesting the use of solar lights (what the heck?!) for some of my needs, and made other suggestions implying he really didn't want to actually do the work - then pretty much never followed up with a quote - so I can't say if the price was more or less than expected) For me, though, Frank and Power Up Electric were well worth the cost - which I felt was quite reasonable anyway.

They were excellent with masking, social distancing, and keeping the work areas neat. They were very careful with the installation of a pendant light that I wanted put up.

I feel like making another list of things we want to do so that he can come back and work his magic! We do have other items, tho, that we really need to take care of first ;) - but once we've worked our way down the list we will be giving Frank another call.

Provided great service and work. We needed several outlets installed in an old unit that had had some shoddy work done in the past. Frank and Miguel were communicative and respectful, explaining the work they were doing and coordinating power shut offs with our work-from-home schedules. They patched and cleaned up behind themselves. Can't recommend them enough.
