Amazing service and even more amazing when it comes to customer service. I had a over night emergency, and tried to call every company I could. Power Rite answered on the 1st ring and was there to help use with in a half hour. They quoted us a great price over the p, and when they came out they noticed there can be a cheaper and better way to fix our emergency. They explained to us how they where going to fix it and save us money. They where so professional and respectful. When they where done they cleaned up everything and even mopped our house. I am going to recommend them to everyone. This company is the real deal and you should only use them.

I tried to use this company last year and had a horrible customer service experience. I left a 1 star review because, I was given a time and date for someone to show up for a estimate and no one ever showed up. After I left a 1 star review about that, the owner of the company contacted me via Yelp and was absolutely rude and unprofessional and left nasty remarks about me. He then proceeded to remove his reply after I answered him back, thinking no one would see it. I had already screenshot his response and posted it. His business partner then reached out to me and was an absolute gentleman and I decided to remove the review.

So I decided to give them a second chance and have been trying to call a 917 area code number and keep getting Voicemail box that is full, requested a appointment via there website and tried them on Yelp again. I haven't received anything in response from them. Power Rite is back to there normal actions, no response. I assume I should be waiting for a nasty response and then a phone call. Please don't bother trying


Yelp customers do yourself a favor and find a reliable electrical company.

Joe and his team are great! I was having trouble getting ""ANY"" electrician to show up when I found Power Rite. Commutation was great and service was even better! Very clean and detailed!! He put in a car charger and added a new automatic outside light. Price was great as well! Give this company a call, you won't be sorry!

I posted a one star review about this company a few days ago. Since then Joe has reached out to me and asked if he could have the opportunity to earn this five star review. I previously hired a handyman to do some repairs which included some work adding electrical outlets. The handyman butchered the job. Joe arrived at my home on time, communicating with me throughout the day. He repaired all the damage done by the handyman. Everything is now safe and done to code. He arrived in uniform with a company vehicle clearly marked to show who he was when he pulled into my driveway. He brought his own broom and cleaned up after the job was finished. As a specialty contractor myself I ask my customers to give me the opportunity to correct any deficiencies in my work. I'm very happy that I gave Joe at Power Rite the opportunity to provide me with excellent service. I feel I have finally found a company I can refer to my friends and family and customers. Joe is going to return to install some lighting for me. Power Rite is now the only company I will consider for my electrical needs.
Joe was also very personable and easy to talk to.
Rest assured. This IS a real company!

Joe was simply amazing. Arrived on time & was ready to work. Had hired Power Rite for installation of kitchen light & placing outlet for stove hood in cabinetry. He explained what he was going to do, how & assured me of process. If I had any questions he put my mind at ease. It's nice to know there are still contractors who take pride in their work. Also he cleaned up after working.. that's a nice added touch!!!! Thank you Joe.
He is also (a rarity in todays day & age) one of those people who demonstrates his moral compass in all he does. His ethics, integrity , honesty & fairness show at all times Thanks again for all you do!!!!!!

I have had the need for professional electric services on several projects.
Power Rite Electric (PRE) first helped me with the electrical set up of my office ontop of my garage - ran electric wire accross 500sqft of office space and built the electrical pannel. All applications were set up to completion, including an electric heater running on its own breaker on 220v. The work was completed with tremendous efficiency. I have been running major electric components out of my garage office with no issues. Also, I am currenty running a Cryptocurrency mining rig which requires a lot of energy , PRE was able to set up all the electric components to execute the project. We have been running at full capacity with no issues. Lastly, we built a pool in the backyard. PRE ran over 100ft of electric wire to set up all the electric components of the pool, including grounding. Overall my experience with Power Rite Electric has been outstanding. Professional and hardworking team. They are my goto electric team.
