It was so easy to make an appointment through Home Advisor.
Our technician Josh was very thorough. He did an excellent job for us and by the time he was leaving we had electricity in both my upstairs bedrooms.
Later once I find a ceiling fan with light fixture that I like I'll be calling DSE again and asking for Josh to come visit and put it up for us.

Discount Service Electric did an amazing job hanging a very difficult rustic wood chandelier for me from a tall vaulted ceiling. I know this was a challenging job because I had 2 other companies tell me they could not or would not do it! DSE was on time, quick, very clean, and very professional. I am super happy with the result, and I would recommend them to anyone! I am also continuing to use them for all my electric work!

We used them once before and had a great experience. This time I explained exactly what we needed - 2 exterior lights on a switch and we would provide the fixtures plus to check out 2 outlets that weren't working. I was quoted $336 over the phone ($69 service call for 2 outlets, $99 for each light, $69 for switch). When they arrived, they determined there was actually nothing wrong with either outlet (one had a safety feature, one was slightly loose)....then they said it was going to be $558 because they had to run conduit for the exterior lights. I'm sorry, but why/how was that not determined in the initial quote? My husband initially turned them away but realized we're short on time and cannot wait for another Appt w/another company so he called them back. They were very nice guys and installed the 2 lights and switch within 2hrs but ran the conduit in the most OBVIOUS and hideous place and charged us over $200 more ($558) while there was an outlet in the corner where it COULD'VE been run off of & completely inconspicuous. Nope, it looks ridiculous, even after my husband painted the conduit Tried to attach pics but unable to do so.

DSE installed a ceiling fan for me and had to balance the blades. Within 24 hours I noticed the fan was wobbling. Marco the installer came back the next day and attempted to balance the fan. The fan would not balance. After about a hour later it was determined to be a factory defect. I contacted the fan manufacturer and they recommended troubleshooting via email. Marco disassembled the fan and performed the manufacturers troubleshooting. Marco demonstrated that it was a defective motor assembly. Marco was very professional and knowledgeable about the problem and spent more than 2 hours working on the problem.I provided the manfracturer with a video showing the defect. I am now waiting for the Manu manufacturers response. DSE and their employees are terrific. I highly endorse them.

I had 220 installed for a new hot tub I had purchased. Discount Electric quoted me a price that was very fair. They installed the 220 at the panel and also installed 2 plug in sockets in the rear of the yard for a possible fountain or waterfall....or whatever I needed it for. I was very pleased with the results. I have had no issues. The installer was a hard worker and did not waste any time.
