Fast service, knowledgeable, professional and honest people. We were having power issues in our home and after troubleshooting everything to no avail, we called DSE after seeing their reviews. They charge an initial service call fee, plus parts and labor so we were nervous about the overall cost and how the job would be handled. Dispatch took our call and said Josh would be out within 3 hrs. Josh showed up right on time. He was friendly, super knowledgeable and very professional. He got right to work to find the problem and fixed it within a few minutes, turned out it was loose wiring in an upstairs light socket. He charged us only for service call. Others would have stretched out the job to increase their fees, but Josh didn't do that, and we really appreciated his honesty and integrity. DSE and Josh were great! I will definitely use them again and would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

Our technician Josh did a great job, we had him out for several jobs: replaced outdated bathroom fixtures with new ones and had to re-wire as well, installed dimmers throughout, installed kitchen pendant fixture, installed pool table pendant, and installed 2 ceiling fans.... all the work was done exceptionally well, pricing was competitive/good, he was always on time and left no mess behind. We are very happy with Josh at DSE and would highly recommend!

Found this organization from porch.com and they were referred and had good reviews so I figured hey I'm gonna have no problems...boy was I wrong. I have a history of giving great reviews and I am glad to share up until now my experiences have had positive outcomes as evidenced by the reviews I have written and posted on Yelp. I wish I could say this was another one of those instances however it was the exact opposite. This work took place on 2/19/18, I hired this organization to install a Ring doorbell system on my house and instead what I got was a nightmare. The technicians did not use the hardware that came with the kit and as a result butchered the stucco at my front door. The technicians left the cover for our electrical panel on the side of my house. They didn't have the time to help me setup the Ring doorbell on my phone and they left without the doorbell ringing internally when the doorbell button is pushed at the front door. We didn't know if that is how it was supposed to work until we had another technician come on site and call to attention this issue. Basically we didn't even know this was an issue until somebody else came by and told us that's not how it's supposed to work. At that point in time we reached out to this organization and the owner took some information and said he would call me back, we spoke again and at that point he was more concerned about getting a negative review on porch.com as opposed to working out this issue and getting my doorbell fixed. I don't want you to get burned like I did because they didn't install the system correctly. They had no problem whatsoever collecting the payment. They did not respond until I contacted them again 2 months later and when I spoke with the owner as previously stated, he was unwilling to come fix the doorbell himself and he was more concerned about his review instead of the most important thing the customer. His final condescending words to me were, ""think before you post"" instead of what can I do to make this right for you. If you don't want these kinds of headaches then stay away from these guys that's all I'm gonna say.

I needed a light fixture in my living room. I have high arched, 16 foot ceilings with wood beams. There's no attic space. I had no idea where to go. I called a couple of electric companies but they were backed up and couldn't give me any idea of the cost. I went to home Depot and used their service of local licensed help. One called me three weeks later. One said it's gonna be expensive and that I should send pictures before he comes out. I sent pictures and heard nothing. The third guy came out and was talking about running insulated wire along side the wood beams but to the stairwell light. So both lights would have to be on at the same time. When I said no to that, he told me that he would get back to me. I called a dozen times, texted a few more, no response. I then used an online service. Discount Service Electric was their first recommendation. They called almost immediately. I scheduled a quote. My daughter was home since I travel and the guy called me. I mentioned the insulated wiring and he cut me off. He said they're professionals at an amazing price and won't do handyman work. I was sold. Their price was unbelievable! Their work, incredible! The reference to a drywall guy, unbeatable! I scheduled the work. This company's apointment tracking service was the best I've ever seen. Within a week, both appointments were done, and I couldn't be happier. It's a long story but I won't call anyone else for electric work.... Ever!

Second time was a charm. We used DSE to hang a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. Immeadiately it was noisy and wobbly and just not right. The second guy figured it out. Just would have been nice to have it done right the first time. Would I use DSE again? Yeah...theyre back in my good graces....
