Excellent service. I called Power Plus because we lost power in parts of the house. The technician came out on time and waited for me to get home form work I was running late. He was able to identify the problem and explained every step of his work without giving me one of those intimidating stories I have heard from others before. He fixed my problem without exceeding my budget. Realizing his excellent work I had him quote me a price to change my overloaded sub panel with a bigger one, he changed the panel the same day cleaned his work space and left. I was so happy with his work I recommend them to my sister to have Power Plus do the rewire of her duplex she's been wanting to do. Thanks Power Plus I'm glad I called you guys. I have already recommended them to a family member.

PowerPlus was sent to my house by a tree trimming company who damaged the powerline from my main house to the guesthouse. I don't know where to begin with the incredible service Andre provided me on such a time sensitive issue. The work was done more quickly than he quoted and he actually did a better job than the original work he was repairing. He even walked me through every step of what he was going to do and explained it to me, which as a new homeowner I truly appreciated. I think it is a shame the yelp scores for this business are so low, because yelp is how we find our repair man and we never would have gone with this company if the tree trimming company had not hired them. speaking from our experience, we would recommend PowerPlus to anyone who is looking for electrical services on their home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We paid $572 to replace 2 ballasts (which cost less than two dollars each to purchase and took the electrician 20 minutes at most). Our technician was super shady. And he brought a friend with him which was both unnecessary and unprofessional. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are a bunch of crooks.

The quote to install some outdoor lights and some outdoor outlets was fairly steep, over $400+ per outlet. The quote to do 2 outdoor lights and 4 outdoor outlets was $2160 total. Wow. I even provided them all the hardware minus the romex. I paid the $40 consultation fee to have the tech come and give me the quote, but decided to do as much of the work as I could myself and have the tech come and finish anything I had a potential problem with.
I ran into an issue with tapping power from an existing outlet the day after the tech originally came for the estimate, so I called Power Plus to schedule the tech to come out and figure out the problem. The operator said they had a tech in the area and would send him that afternoon, but when I gave my address, they said, ""oh wait, didn't we have a tech over there earlier?"" I said yes, and they said they had to send the same tech since he gave me the original visit , but he wouldn't be able to come til 3 days later. I said, ""It doesn't matter who the tech is, I'd rather just have the one in the area come this afternoon"". They insisted it had to be the other guy since he was there for the original quote and was ""familiar with the work that had to be done"". So I asked, if the $40 visitation I paid the day before would be applied towards the work, and they said no, since the scope of worked was now different. They wouldn't budge even after I pointed out they were contradicting themselves.
This makes absolutely no sense and was just a ploy to pad their pockets with an extra $40. Super shady. If you have to send the same tech because he's familiar with the work, then the $40 I paid for the work to be done should apply to the work. And on the other hand, if you're gonna make me pay the $40 again because the scope of work changed, then why can't you send a different tech?
Pretty unprofessional IMO. I won't be calling them again.

I needed to upgrade my panel and I looked around for a great service company to fix it because I needed it done ASAP. They showed up within an hour, and at first I was hesitant because I did Yelped them, but Andre did a great job and was very experienced. He knew exactly what was wrong and explained it to me clearly. The pricing was fair considering the amount of expertise used to fix the problem. I will definitely call this company for future problems.

Great customer care , and not so bad on my pocket either .Art was detailed and very helpful in explaining our electrical problem . We were having power outages due to overload and he installed a new dedicated line . Now we can use the heater and microwave without having to reset the power . Price is fair and they really took the time to find the problem , he even installed an outlet for free :D

Shady Business ! stay away quoted me over 400 dollars to replace a circuit breaker that cost 30 dollars at Home Depot and turns out didn't need replacing anyway just resetting , they didn't even test it . Plus they were 45 mins late . Look elsewhere
