I am so very grateful to Guy; he was so very kind, professional, neighborly, honest, sincere, and conscientious. I had a light and switch problem in one area of our home, sunroom and bedroom. I initially had another electrician come out who sought the problem but ultimately only found and repaired one receptical but yet I still had no power in the master bdrm , he was quick to point out that I needed a basic upgrade from $1900-2625 as the original devices were not best quality; however he didn't resolve my immediate problem and made it seem that if he continued, he would have to open and check every outlet in the house at $132/hr which would be just as costly as the upgrade; I declined to consider my cost options after paying him $312. I then searched yelp and called power electric; Guy was available same day and came out within 20 mins. Found the bdrm light problem within the hour, and replaced the faulty receptical as well as corrected a safety hazard left by prior electrician. Guy explained that I didnt need any costly upgrade and remedied my light problem immediately within the hour at only $125(compared to $312). Guy of Power Electric is an upstanding guy and I highly recommend him. I will call him only in the future!

Power Electric is great. We had a problem with our dryer and an electrical outlet. Guy came out right away and tested everything. He fixed the outlet and a few other issues quickly. He was fair about pricing, courteous and quick. Would definitely call again.

I did what most people do- I waited until I had a list of small issues long enough to justify having an electrician out to the house- Based on his positive Yelp reviews I gave Guy a call. My 5 Star rating is solid. He called me back promptly - paid a visit to walk through all of my list and gave me options. The thing I appreciated most is the many ways he told me I could save money. He gave me options on when he could do the work and he completed the work in less time than estimated.
On time, polite, and his work is terrific. Most people don't know a ton about electrical work (myself included) and he explained what I needed in a way that made sense and made me feel comfortable about every penny of the bill.

I decided to move my electric dryer to the garage I called Power Electric, Guy came out and completed this job...he installed a new power outlet and even installed my new dryer by creating a vent on the side of my house. He exceeded my expectations by quality of work....truly professional and reasonable price.....his many years of experience shows by his work.....I wouldn't trust anybody else....if you're looking for expert quality and peace of mind....Power Elecric ( btw...before he left I asked him to look at a light switch that was not working.... He fixed it on the spot and did not charge me for that...) I'm a very satisfied customer....thanks Guy!

What a great electrician! Guy goes above and beyond what is expected. He shows up on time, very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions, his price is competitive and he takes pride in his work. We had a panel upgrade with the addition of a whole house surge protector and after trying to schedule multiple electricians that were non-responsive, non-competitive with pricing or just flaked out on the work, we learned of Power Electric from a neighbor. We contacted him after reading positive reviews online. He was very responsive (which was refreshing), scheduled us as early as possible (which he even improved when there was a cancelation), and got everything done right the first time! He worked with the HVAC contractor who was at our house simultaneously to make sure everything worked together and even the SMUD Service Technician knew Guy by first name and spoke highly of him. We are perfectionists about our home and find that it's difficult to find contractors that are worth the money you spend on them, but that surely isn't the case with Guy and Power Electric. We didn't have to point out mistakes or call him back to fix anything, we are happy with his work and we are confident that it was done right. We are happy to say we found our electrician and we will surely be using him again in the future.

We needed a Bryant Main Breaker over the 4th of July weekend (had NO power)
and couldn't find one due to it being a holiday weekend. I went ahead and left a voice
message praying someone would call me back and not long after Guy called :)
Not only did he have the exact breaker for us, he delivered it and his price was right.
Can't get better then that! Guy was very professional, and I HIGHLY recommend him.

A little let down. Based on such wonderful reviews, i had expected at least a return call. I called twice and emailed once with no response in three days. Taking my business elsewhere. Being self employed, i understand how a small business can be over booked and busy, but i do best to touch base in a timely manner with everyone who contacts me with an eta of when i can help them.

I contacted Guy for a hot tub hook up. He came over and gave me a fair bid. While at my house, I asked him if he could drop a 20 ft light over my pool table. Guy contacted me the next day and gave me another fair bid. I was unable to find anyone that could do this job without wanting an outrageous amount. or they just could not do it. Guy worked over 4 hours and never missed a beat. The job turned out great and I immediately put him on speed dial! If you want a great electrician call this person. If you are looking for cheap go to craigslist and take your chances. It is refreshing when you know a guy knows his craft, comes prepared, and does the work with a pleasant attitude. I strongly recommend if you need an electrician that you call Guy.

I have used Guy to upgrade an electrical panel, troubleshoot/fix electrical problems and fix outlets. Each time he has done a great job for a reasonable fee. The last time was a difficult break in the power line which he was able to trace and fix. I will continue to use him in the future.

I had several outlets and light fixtures throughout the house that had not been working since I moved in. After replacing several of them myself without any improvement I called Guy. After talking with him on the phone he was able to diagnose the problem simply by the year the house was built. It turns out it was a faulty GFI in my garage that I didn't even know about. He gave me the advice I needed to fix it myself at the expense of the money he would have made on the job. Knowledgeable enough to diagnose the problem over the phone, and honest enough to help me fix it myself; Guy will be my first call if I ever have another electrical problem.
