BLUFFTON RESIDENTS BE WARNED!!!! I contacted this company to install several fans in our new home. I was told it would take one of their electricians about four hours to complete, at $80.00 an hour the quote/estimate I was given was $320.00. I set the appointment. Two workers showed up vice one which increased the hourly rate to $112.50, which was not a problem. They finished installing all fans in just under three hours, so my expectation was to receive a bill for $337.50 ($112.50 X3). Instead I was handed a bill for $450.00. When I asked why I was being charged for four hours work vice three, I was told that although the receipt I was handed covered three hour work (9:00 to 12:00) the clock started for the workers at the Broad River bridge since the company is based out of Beaufort. This was never mentioned, brought up, or discussed during the initial contact/estimate process. So, I was $112.50 in the hole before any worker even arrived at my front door. The installation of the fans was adequate, and the workers pleasant, but the business/billing/estimate practice of this company was not only deceptive but was dishonest. If you live in Beaufort you are probably safe, but if you live in Bluffton I would definitely recommend you avoid this company.
