Long story short they never send me a quote and I waited for 6 weeks after they came out for the estimate.

The Story:
-Took two weeks to get an appointment.
-There was a 2-hour appointment window, the service man arrived 15 minutes after the 2 hours.
-He told me they would send a quote the next day.
-Waited 3 weeks and called, the lady on the phone said they'd have the quote to me asap.
-It's been another few weeks and nothing.
-Got the work done with someone else.

3 stars might be too generous, but who knows what type of work they do. Recommendation to the business: Follow-up, our time is not worthless!

Positive Electric----unreal, fantastic----your right--they are as good as it gets. Had problems under the house with the water pumps with all the rain we have had. Nick ( the owner) told me to get a plumber and once the water was removed to call him. It took a few days to remove he water and during this time he made phone calls to me asking how things were going. Once the water was removed, I called, he was out to the house immediately and fixed all the electrical problems. His employees are very professional. To have confidence in someone is beyond the call. His service call was reasonable, his services OUTSTANDING.

I wish I could leave a positive review for this company here. I contacted Positive Electric because of five star reviews. Unfortunately my experience is not that positive. Jason came to check on my exhaust fan and told I'll hear from the office with an estimate. I called the office after waiting for almost a week and Sharon promised to call back with the estimate later in the day. Never happened. Called once again a couple of days later and was asked exactly the same questions and promised to get the estimate later in the day. Still nothing. What a waste of time! Would never recommend it. Extremely frustrating especially it's a neighborhood business and I've been always a fan of using local professionals.

I highly recommend Positive Electric. We had Jason come out and he is very good at what he does. In addition to being punctual on every day he was scheduled to arrive, Jason performed quality work which included rewiring the entire house, installing a new sub panel, diagnosing and fixing really weird existing electrical connections in our garage, converting all two-prong outlets to three-prong outlets, installing a very complicated television mount, installing new light switches, installing brand new outlets and wiring our television so that the wires are hidden. Everything was done well and Jason took his time to make sure everything worked properly and to make sure that he explained what he was doing and why. I really can't say enough about how happy my wife and I are. We have found our go-to electrician going forward and I would not hesitate to recommend Positive Electric for all of your electrical needs.

Positive Electric has done an excellent job for me on both small commercial and residential jobs. I originally hired them to do some retrofit work at my previous employer. They were always on time, professional, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. I also believe they are reasonably priced.

Recently, I had an emergency situation at my home and they reacted very quickly and rearranged their schedule to accommodate an urgent issue. The administrative staff and everyone I've dealt with in the field have been exceptional.

Had electric vehicle charger upgrade (NEMA 14-50) for Tesla installed by Positive Electric.
They were courteous and knowledgeable on the telephone.
Diego came to do the estimate promptly as scheduled. Estimate was quite reasonable, and thus had the install same day. Diego was very patient, pleasant and knowledgeable, explained everything I wanted to know in detail before doing the work and while doing it. He was very efficient and did quality work. He gave clear impression that he was there to serve the customer and perform good work. He Further made sure that I Knew about PG&E's incentive program for electric vehicles.
I don't usually write reviews except for exceptional services. I was very pleased with the work and highly recommend them to anyone wanting electrical services.

Positive Electric saved the day for our local church. We had a large, commercial installation of custom lighting for our main Sanctuary. Of three bidders, they were the lowest and provided additional services when our lighting designer failed us. Diego was very thorough with his estimate, added the extra LED track lights, dimmers, and parts we needed, and fixed problems with the $12k in custom fixtures we received. Took three days, two electricians, but it was done correctly and they stuck to the estimated price. The Sanctuary had steep, 25 ft ceilings with pews bolted to the concrete. Working from both a ladder and rolling scaffolding, they got the job done.

Overall, very professional, thorough, and technically competent to do the job right at the lowest price. Always on time and easy to work with. Highly recommend them.

Needed to have two heaters replaced. Never needed an electrician, or even knew one. Yelped! Them, and took a chance. VERY reasonable rates(big plus)Great customer service, on time, and best of all, knew what he was doing... Kyle Rocks. Definitely will use them again, and will recommend them.

Circuit breaker wouldn't reset. Well treated on the phone call. Diego the electrician arrived when scheduled. He did good troubleshooting of where the short was--turns out it was the sump pump--and was personable and considerate.
