Called Pope electrical because we had an issue with our hot water tank. We had a plumber out and he said that our tank had a bad connection, it blew 3 thermostats and 2 tanks.
The electrician came out, checked the wiring, replaced a wire, added a shut off because it wasn't in line of sight, turned on the breaker, turned on the water and viola, we had hot water!!
We will recommend them to everyone, we will be looking into a whole home surge protector.

I recommend POPE ELECTRIC. They return calls (others didn't) and have done a great job at a fair price. I'll call them again next time I need an electrician.

I'm a local Realtor and needed an electrician in a hurry. Tom answered my call instantly and was able to accommodate my schedule without any disruption to my business. I will be keeping Pope Electric Inc. in my contact list. Professional, efficient and cost effective.
What mattered most was that Tom went right to work on the inspection report issues and didn't add any nonsense to the project.

Had some work done on the house and out at the pool. Fast, friendly, and honest. Highly recommend this team.

So I called this guy 1 day after hurricane irma to come out to repair a meter box and hook my power back up. A large pine branch ripped it off the wall. He got back up and running in no time. Very professional. Can't say enough about how much help he was.

I called Tom Pope after he came highly recommended. He sent one of his employees and a helper. I had a ceiling light moved six inches, an outlet required about two feet from another outlet, two electric plug strips installed about two feet from junction box, five outlets replaced with new outlets that had phone jacks($30 each) and one kitchen outlet replaced with a ground fault outlet. 71/2 hours later and still not finished he gave me a bill for over $1,000.00 . When I questioned his charge per hour he said $115.00 per hour plus parts and he informed me his helper was the extra $30 per hour over his $85.00. This was the first time I ever felt like someone grossly overcharged. He came back with his helper and charged me another $153.00 to hook the two plug strips up. I called the owner and told him and also told him the plug strip was not straight. I asked the owner to adjust the bill as I felt he really had grossly over charged for what he did. Tom said he knew Nick was a good electrician and did a good and safe job. He did destroy my $153 check and said he hoped that was enough. The truth and bottom line is I was overcharged by hundreds of dollars for what was done. Do not use this company unless you get Tom himself!

Great personable, polite and FAST service. Tom can quickly and explain exactly what he was doing and why. We had no electric in our home and he really saved us.

I'm new in town and needed someone to hang some lights and ceiling fans. I'm glad someone told us about Tom, owner of Pope Electric. He did great work at a fair price, and when the job spilled over into a second day (through no fault of his), he refused to accept payment until everything he'd promised was complete! That's customer service. That's integrity. If you want good work, a good price, and a good person to do the job, definitely give Tom a call.
