I decided it was time for a professional.
My previous appliance service company no longer served Santa Cruz County.
I called Plug-In Services. They answered promptly and an appointment was made for the next day. Matt arrived and went to work immediately. He was polite and considerate. Matt found the problem which was pretty unusual and obscure. Although the dryer timer was good, the buzzer signal for the end of the dry cycle was faulty.
In a total of 1 hour we had a functioning dryer at a fair price.
