Hiring Plug-In EV was the easiest thing I've ever done - if I had only called them first. I was waiting over a week for a bid from another electrician when I decided to contact someone else out of frustration. I contacted Plug-In EV on a Friday. Saturday morning Avi came by my home and gave me an estimate. Saturday afternoon I was charging my EV at home! I was really surprised when he told me they could install the same day, on a weekend. They delivered. A few days later they sent out a wallboard guy to fix the plaster garage wall that was opened for the wiring. Then they stayed in touch through the L.A. building department inspection and permit process. Finally they sent me the files necessary to apply for the LADWP rebate.

Throughout this process Plug-In stayed in touch with me, showed up on time, and delivered on promises. I never had to chase anyone down, or play texting tag. Great company, great people. Highly recommended.

I needed an EV Charger installed in my garage, so of course I consulted Yelp. These guys were at the top of the list with great reviews (although not as many reviews as other companies). I decided to contact them for a quote, and requested quotes from other companies as well to compare.

Out of the several companies that gave me a quote, only Avi from Plug-In EV Charging Solution mentioned the $1000 rebate that I could get from LADWP. So that sealed the deal for me! Their prices were comparable with the others but I liked that they communicated that to me.

Avi, Adar and his team were a pleasure to work with -- very communicative, answered all my questions, and arrived to work during the stated timeframe. They installed the charger, had me test it out before they left, and scheduled the inspection for me.

I would recommend them to anyone who needs an EV charger installed!

Great price, service and installation. My ChargePoint Flex is working great and when I needed help setting it up Avi helped me by sending links and one how to use the app with my charger. Getting the permit was cheaper and easier than their competition. I found them because of their great Yelp reviews and this is another great review! Avi and Adar (Oscar helped install too, really nice guy) did not ask for payment until I was happy with everything and the permit was issued. I never felt like they just wanted to get paid, but instead they wanted me to enjoy my new EV charger!

Easiest 5-star review I've written in a long time. Responsive. Informative. Helpful. Prompt. Fair. Thoughtful even.

I had a work place situation where we had EV charging and it was really an L1 set-up. Adar came out the next day and assessed the situation. He gave me advice that was easy to understand. He clarified a point about electrical panels and circuits that I did not know before. We agreed on a price and he stated he would be out within a few days.

After he left, I realized I had not given him all the information he needed about additional work. I contacted him. He worked with me with pictures and questions and was able to re-do the proposal.

They came when promised and did the work. They were not satisfied with one part and came back early the next morning with the part they wanted. The work was clean, very good parts, efficient, as promised.

He installed a system that worked exactly as I hoped it would, I finished testing it already and I'm very happy, it's more than I need to drive my EV all I want now. He also enabled us to upgrade to a better charging system if we want to in the future, I have a pretty good one so I may not, but it's nice to know we can do that if we ever decide to, which I might.

Edit: I have done some fairly extensive testing, reviewed/side-checked by another EV driver at my office, and so far the L2 system Adar and his team put in, is performing at the high end of what an L2 system can do. Certainly I now find myself driving around with a full tank so to speak. Gotta get used to not using the word ""tank"" lol.

I recommend them for EV charging work at home or office.

Very smooth process to install an electric charger in my garage. Walked me through the process, answered my questions, and even came to my house to wait for the city inspector when I was unable to be there. BTW, the inspector said that in his opinion they did a great job with the install!

Fantastic one stop shop. Only electrician that offered to do everything needed to set up my car charger correctly. I needed to upgrade my panel and he ordered all the permits, installed the panel to code. Re-stuccoed my wall and matched the paint perfectly. Highly recommend Plug-in to anyone. Trustworthy and efficient!
