I am an electrical and general contractor. I needed a quad circuit breaker so I went to Platt electric and they sold me a quad circuit breaker for 100+ dollars and it's usually a $30-$40 item when I asked him if he gave me the contractor discount. He said yes He said his name was Ben. When I said he's overcharging me he said well do you want it or not and I needed it for a job so I was forced to buy it I don't think I've ever been overcharged for a breaker like this in 30 years.

So I told him that's why I probably don't shop there is because they gouge people be careful

Wow, I've NEVER dealt with a company who totally does not have any customer service. My wife tried returning some lighting (not knowing there policies) and the mgr and cashier practically accused her of using the lights and trying to get her $$ back. Which was not the case at all. Not only did they make her feel dishonest they insisted she used them which we did not. $36.00 was not a profit maker for us and possibly for them it seemed like it was going to break there bank. Never the less do NOT shop at this place if you wish to be treated in this manner. Shame on the staff and manager. They truly need some type of training towards customers because if they don't admit or not customers do keep there business alive. If they wish to treat them in this manner how do they expect to stay in business. I will NEVER step foot in this store and will warn others to take there business elsewhere. Beware consumers.
