After over a decade of being a loyal customer, even making top customer of the month in volume purchasing a couple times, Platt didn't just fail when the pandemic hit, they became evil.
I was doing a large project severely affected by the virus, and it was paused.
Without warning Platt refused to allow me to negotiate a payoff plan for the $29,000 I was cheated o from by the low ethics developer, and instead sued me.
They filed for an incorrect amount and their attorney refused to accept payments,instead tried to force me into bankruptcy.
I don't know how they got a court date then because the courts were not even hearing civil cases, but I guess big money and expensive lawyers get their way.
If you are a small contractor stay away, the moment you get screwed by a customer Platt will immediately go for the kill shot, no matter low long you've been a customer, or how many hundreds of thousands of dollars you have spent with them for materials.
I was in shock over the over the top heavy handed and oppressive posture, the arrogant and dismissive snarky attitude of the account manager, and the haughty, overbearing lack of understanding.
So much for the last twelve years of being a loyal Platt customer.
Buyer beware, they will drive a knife in your back at the drop of a hat.
If you are a contractor, you already know how difficult it is to collect from some customers.
A signed contract doesn't mean anything, they know all they have to do is make a prolonged legal battle and that will break the bank for a small contractor.

That is pure evil.

Had problems with my water well pump, asked the pump company for the parts whew! Got the same or better from Platts works very well. Thank you

I had to change out a double wall switch controlling a ceiling fan, lights and wall plugs. Not an easy thing for a non-electrician.

Went to Platt Electric and was helped by Jessica. She was the most patient, informative and professional trying to help me out. I brought in my old switch and she had difficulty matching it because it was so old and not marked well. But, she continued searching and did find one to do the job. She then went out of her way to explain how to wire it up. She also gave me a contact to an electrician in case I couldn't figure it out.

Jessica did all this while dealing with phone calls, other contractors coming in and walk-in customers. Super multi-tasker!!!!

Just wanted to give my appreciation for the excellent customer service she showed!
