WOW! I cannot believe the audacity of this company. A simple breaker switch was replaced and I was charged $469. It was a 20 minute job and I was charged for almost 2 hours of time. When questioned I was told it was commute time. UNBELIEVABLE!!!! I would stay away from this company....unless you like being taken advantage of.

8/9/2019 update: Pingston Electric, no matter how you spin it, you charged me ~$500 for 1 hour of work to replace a breaker switch. I am always grateful for expert workmanship and quality work; however, I'm also grateful for honesty and fairness, and that was not part of my experience with your company. I reached out to your office two times and the response I received was similar to your post here. I am willing to accept that we disagree on the cost of replacing a breaker switch, but at least I am at peace knowing you, the business owner, are aware of this transaction and how your employees went about it.

John and his team did a fantastic job at our home, we lost partial power due to a burnt line coming in to the panel from the meter. They were able to respond, permit, install, get an inspection and get FPL to restore power in one day. Nothing short of spectacular. Great to have a fantastic local business like Pingston Electric to take care of our electrical needs. I would highly recommend them anytime!

I had a good feeling about this company from my first call. The lady that answered was able to set me up with an appointment for the following week. The electrician came at the appointed time and after a few minutes of trouble-shooting was able to identify and resolve our problem at a reasonable price.

Stay away from these con artist. Very slow work, does not finish jobs when they say, charges more than quoted then threatens you. Had to pay another company to finish their bad incomplete work. The other company said that the work done should have been completed in one day not three.Home owner beware of these shisters!

Highly recommend using Pingston for any and all projects big or small. Affordable prices and great customer service! Recently purchased an older home in Satellite Beach that needed a lot of updates. Chuck was extremely knowledgeable and informative during his visits. He does great quality work and was very professional. Despite being busy after storm Irma they were able to schedule us no problem. We will definitely be using these guys for any future work!

They know their stuff. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Didn't charge a penny to come look and gave free advice for future projects. I will only call use these guys and will highly recommend to friends and family.

They came out twice for an estimate but NEVER GOT EITHER ESTIMATE I used a different company that did the estimate within a day and did the job on-time to the exact estimate.

Came out promptly and claimed my AFCI breaker trip was caused by backstabbed wiring. They fixed that and was charged $110.

Breaker was still tripping, 2nd visit by their electrician says the breaker has tripped too many times and should have been changed originally. Charged for parts, labor and another service fee.

Owner offers me 1/3 the cost of the 2nd service fee off my next invoice. They still have not corrected the issue, charged me for the 1st electricians lack of thoroughness and want me to pay to send a 3rd out to fix what the 1st and 2nd appointment did not?

I would not recommend a company who does not stand behind their service and want's to keep charging people to troubleshoot one item at a time.

I get that things slip sometimes but that is not the fault of the customer. The fact that even before the 3rd electrician comes out the owner already made it very clear there WILL be a 3rd invoice.

We had a chandelier and a sconce replaced along with getting a dimmer switch installed for the chandelier. Gabriel from Pingston was probably the most professional tradesman that we've had the pleasure of meeting. Totally knowledgeable and he explained everything that he was doing as he did the work. He had to maneuver a tall extension ladder into a tight stairwell and was extremely careful not to hit any walls or railings. He laid drop cloths on the stairs and cleaned up after he finished the job. He had a smile on his face the entire time he was working even though we pestered him with numerous questions about the job he was doing. We couldn't be happier with his work or his demeanor and the price was fair. A big THANK YOU to John and Roxanne for their help as well.

I highly recommend Pingston Electric. They were on time and did a great job, Even though it was a very small job, no one made me feel as if I was wasting their valuable time. They were courteous on the phone and in person. I will definitely use them again.
