I called Pierce Electric at 10:54 am due to the GFCI outlet in the kitchen suddenly not working. Laura was able to schedule a technician to come out immediately. I was giving a window of 11:30am - 1:30pm. I received a text message at 11:06am advising that James would arrive at 11:30. I also like that a photo of the technician was provided, very nice added piece of security considering all the scamming that's happening in our community. James was on time and very professional, he made sure that I understood the issue and replaced very quickly. I choose this company based on their longevity in the community. I plan on sending a lot of business their way.

Jimmy from Pierce Electric fixed the problem with our GFI in our main bathroom in an efficient manner. It sounds like a minor problem, but not when it effects the other outlets on the line. Pierce Electric is a well known name in Vallejo and the reason we chose their service. He arrived on time, was congenial, answered all our questions regarding the how and whys. We are very satisfied with the service we received.

So the house was having some electrical issues, and like any other guy I wanted to try and figure it out myself. I tried all the simple things such as replacing breakers but wasn't having any luck. I decided it was time to call an electrician as it was obvious this was going to be more complicated then I could handle. Like anyone else I started with electricians that had the most and highest reviews and was getting hourly rates ranging from $175-$195 an hour. Are you kidding me!! Having researched electrician rates I knew these quotes were on the high side.

Finally I get to Pierce and Laura answers the phone. Laura listens to the issue and lets me know all the possibilities of what it could be. By this point I'm dizzy because the job sounds like it could really be expensive. Then we get to the hourly quote and I'm shaking in my boots as I'm ready to hear somethings in the range of $175-195 an hour. To my surprise the quote was really good and well below the $175-$195 range I've been receiving so we set up and appointment. She lets me know the guy who will be coming to check the problem is a certified electrician named James.

The day James was scheduled to come I was at work but my girlfriend was home. Since I wasn't home I was worried that we might get ripped off but we needed this fixed and couldn't hold it off. If anything we could hear what he found and just pay the hourly rate. James calls me explaining he was done with his previous job early and wanted to know if he could come by early. I told him no problem and at this point I'm starting to sweat bullets. My girlfriend lets me know as soon as he gets to the house. James is telling her all these things about electrical work that she doesn't understand so she texts me the only thing she understands at that point which was ""this sounds expensive."" By this point I want to fake an illness to go home so I can deal with this guy myself, but before I can formulate a plan she texts me again ""he's done."" The worry starts to sink in as I wonder how much this could be but I realize he's only been at the house for maybe 45 minutes. Apparently it was just a loose wire that the easily tightened back down!!!!! All the electronics begin to work properly again, and Pierce ONLY charged us for 1 hour of labor which we were more than happy to pay. James let us know that all the wiring and electrical boxes/panels still looked good and gave us recommendation of what we could do in the future. I was absolutely stunned by the honesty of this company and would highly recommend them. I have tons of family in Vallejo and have already recommended them to Pierce should they ever have any electrical issues with their homes.

Jim of Pierce Electric was awesome! He and his associate arrived early and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He explained thoroughly what was going on as well as how he fixed the problem. He also gave me recommendations on what to fix next but was honest about it. I appreciate that, especially since I'm not an expert in this field. I highly recommend the services of Pierce Electric and will come to them for any future problems. Thanks again!

Matt and his crew did a complete overhaul of my electrical system 2 years ago. They stand by their work as just recently I had a switch come loose in my breaker box and Matt came and made the adjustment free of charge.

I called Pierce Electric for a non-emergency visit after a handyman project went awry - I moved a three-way switch to another location and couldn't figure out how to correctly wire it back into the old knob and tube system. Matt showed up right on time on my schedule and had the problem diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. He was extremely courteous and didn't mind me hanging around while he got to work and gave me a few pointers on some other projects I had going. I mentioned I was in the military and when the invoice came they added in a nice military discount without me even asking. I would definitely call them again for bigger projects too.

Matt Pierce came out to do some minor repairs on an elec outlet and kitchen lights. He showed up promptly, fixed the sloppy work another company had done, was knowledgeable and my pug loved him! We like giving business to such a nice local family business. The prices were fair, $165 for 1.5 hours of work, we most certainly use them in the future.

Very easy to deal with, professional and knowledgeable. Matt came by to give a quote to ground an outlet in the garage for an electric car charger. Open to questions and gave alternative ways to solve the problem. Ended up getting quotes for various ways of doing the work (house was old so I decided to change the sub-panel). Matt and Joe were thorough, neat, and considerate. Would hire them again for jobs in the future.
