The lighting in our house had been acting up for some time, flickering/dimming uncontrollably, and I was recommended to reach out to Aaron. He responded very quickly and I explained the issues and expressed my concerns of it possibly being a fire hazard and he didn't hesitate to come the next day to give an inspection. Our breaker box needed to be replaced, it was completely outdated, and he went through every detail. He and his coworker Josh were both very friendly, hard working and had our new breaker box in as quick as possible. Definitely happy with our service and would recommend to anyone with electrical needs.

1. Not trying to diagnose to find the root cause of the breaker which kept flipping and won't turn back on. Saying if A is not resolved, there is not point to look at B & C. Charged $350 fee for doing nothing except opening the panel and took a peek.

2. Will repeatedly saying your panel or cable is not up to current building code (which is ridiculous as even the county said if it is grandfathered it is fine, you can't have every single homes upgrading to the current building code)

3. Will repeatedly saying you need a whole new panel and sub panel. The estimate was ridiculously high

4. Another electrician came in a solve the problem. We even asked for some add-ons including a whole new designated circuit for one high power appliance and so on. Everything costed only 1/10 of the quote Aaron told us

5. Ask a larger company to deal with electric stuff, staying away from him

My husband cut the cord on his yard trimmer and blew circuits in and outside the house. We were unable to reset the breakers. Several important sockets were out- including the outside freezer, bathroom plugs, and the entire sprinkler system.

We called Aaron who had done excellent work for us in the past. We called him mid afternoon on a hot Saturday and he came over within the hour. Aaron investigated the outages. When he examined the main panel, he showed us numerous problems in the main panel. The panel was from the original build in 1979, not up to code, overloaded, and a major safety hazard.

He contacted SMUD over the weekend, came out early Monday morning and with his co-worker removed the old box and replaced it with the updated box by Monday afternoon. They checked everything and got us up and running.

They intend to follow up, adding more circuits since too many plugs are on some of the circuits. We were truly amazed at how quickly Pi Solar and Electric responded and completed the main work! They were very professional, polite, and willing to explain everything. I can't thank them enough. They didn't even complain that they had to work in over 90 degree F temps!

Half of my home was without electricity. I called Pi Electric and solar for assistance, and they were very quick to respond. I was away from home and Aaron was kind enough to check out my panel and FaceTime me identifying my problem and advised me with the best solution.
The crew were very professional and it was a pleasure working with all of them.
I have a brand new electric panel and happy to say all sockets and lights are on!

First of all I don't give reviews I generally refuse to because I don't believe that it's worth anything more than a sack of rocks . However in this instance I was working with something that could be potentially life-threatening and I am not the most articulate person when I'm speaking vocally . Not only that I have no formal education in any kind of electrical wiring all I know is what I've learned from mistakes and experience . That said I had to get some advice on a project that I had to stop mid project and therefore I was screwed as far as I was concerned because I had no reference point and I have no memory due to him mental illness making my memory horrible so having five wires and three colors and two of those colors being right next to each other it's literally impossible I would not have been able to have any chance of guessing correctly and I still am only hoping I understood but the fact that this company stayed on the phone with me as I asked my questions which were obviously not even really helpful as far as him providing an answer this is just what you call good customer service if I end up shocking myself that's on me that is all my fault and he did his best to give me advice with a severe lack of information that I probably gave in such an undecipherable manner that he was probably highly annoyed with me and yet he was polite courteous helpful and I would never ever call any other electrician. I was working with a Harbor Freight 3000 watt 6000 Peak inverter and Harbor Freight as we all know cut costs. In my mind can it costs in this manner is unacceptable and I intend to pursue action because this is literally the exact example of refusing a customer's right to repair or modify a product they have purchased and a company denying the information that is necessary for them to do so to fit their own personal needs this is my product I should be able to do it I should be able to download a schematic and recreate this simply because I purchased a product most other companies who provide this kind of service will not help you by providing any information as far as my experience goes and yet this company provided me information to help keep me safe and if I still screw something up that is not on them that is on me So for anybody who needs help with electrical work and screws it up anyways this is a very big lesson for you you'll find great companies like Pi electric and solar he will do their best to help you or you will find companies who will say screw you I'm not going to give you any information because I don't want to be held liable and have you pursue legal action. Remember as a consumer right to repair means that you do accept liability and you have no right to pursue legal action against companies who are just out there to help you out people have the right to earn a living just like you have a right to modify your own purchases but that means accepting responsibility for everything from a simple shock to catastrophic failure resulting in your death that is not on the company that is on you I think this company for giving me even a hint, because that hint helped me decide whether or not I need to pursue this if I have the confidence that I can because this is a 3,000 watt inverter this is not child's play this is a 6,000 Watt peak inverter I don't know if you noticed but 6,000 watts is not very well small let's just say that and it having a metal casing that's conductive well that's just frightening even if it is being used for the ground knowledge that the average consumer does not have means that Harbor Freight's inverters are a crap product and you should never buy one much less modified and even further so if you do do all in one day or call companies like this one to get help I feel confident that I can do this now with their help and if I need to get further help I will contact them again and I will never contact another company and yes I am verbose. Thank you my friends because you probably saved my ask from a massive electric shock as I simply wanted to kick these Outlets away from the unit itself

Service was good , guys were great. Seemed a little expensive. They changed a circuit breaker , two plugs and had to troubleshoot the problem . Took them a total of 2 hours ? The price was $ 525. I would recommend
