Hello, again!
I would like to follow up on my previous review of PG&E. I received my February bill for a staggering $676 and some change. We are just a family of three living in a 1,200 square foot house! Why is the bill so outrageously high? I can only assume it's because PG&E is a monopoly and needs to fund their self-serving commercials that attempt to convince regular customers that they care.

What I say is: prove it! Stop raising your rates and give actual customers a break on their bills. I won't be holding my breath. Instead, I'll be seeing my breath, as I can no longer afford to turn on the heating. Shame on you!

I could almost cut and paste my review from September, because the process was almost identical, at least on my end. This time the earthquake shutoff valve was jostled by the roofers. Not their fault. I didn't warn them about it. I called PG&E last night after realizing the pilot light had gone out on the water heater. Like before, the earthquake shutoff valve was reset, this time by Leo. I discovered the problem while washing the dishes and the water wouldn't get hot, just warm. This time when I called PG&E I ended up dealing w/ a chat bot of some kind. The first appointment they offered was Tuesday of next week but since I had no hot water they could offer me an appointment today (Saturday) w/ a window of 8-5. I had a brunch date w/ Diane today but canceled it so I could stay home. Leo offered to let them in but I had already texted Diane. I waited and waited and started to lose hope as 4:30 passed. I was afraid I hadn't completed one of the final steps to confirm the appointment as sometimes happens. The doorbell rang about 4:45 and it was Robert. He came in, I showed him where the water heater is and he relit it in seconds. I'm afraid I gushed all over him in gratitude, I was so relieved to see him. He said they get a lot of calls like this. This free service by PG&E is wonderful. I just washed the dishes and the water was HOT! I needed my dish washing gloves.

The worst public service monopoly! They gas light us all to pay for their mistakes, all the fires and lives and livelihoods lost. Yet the cost is passed on to the consumer! Ever increasing costs!!! In 2019 my power was out for 5 days! I never got any reimbursement either because it was due to a ""wind event"" Listen, the wind isn't my fault! You can pay for my lost groceries!

Currently my power has been out for 7 hours and is not expected to come on for another 2 hours!!! On the website to get any payment or credit your power has to be off for 24 hours. This is ridiculous!! My power will be out for a total of 9 hours and I'm sure I've lost everything in my fridge and freezer.

PG&E doesn't care about the consumer just their bottom line! Should not even be allowed to operate with the damages they've caused in CA. Even insurance companies are pulling out of CA due to fires... PG&E caused.

I'm tired of paying for PG&E's mistakes! I live in a one bedroom condo and my bill is estimated to be over $300 this month for just me. I've not even used my heater! I'd rather freeze than spend over $300 for my gas and electric. My bill used to be $150 in the winter months (using heater). Now no matter what it's always over $200.

There needs to be a cap on public utilities. They raise rates worse than the feds! Why does the consumer have to bail out the utilities???? Take accountability for your own mistakes!! Pay for your own mistakes!!!

We've had our power go out so many times. One time it took them 3 days for us to get power back on. Then they charge us an arm and a leg. I want municipal power, I'm tired of this private company ruling over California's energy.

Horrible business. Should be able to have other options. Their customer service and safety is horrible.

I wish there was another outside source of power we can use because pge have failed to prepare for small storms leaving us without power for several days.

Shout out to 'Loy' from PG&E!
I called this morning that the gas to my home had stopped working, no heat, hot water or stove....they set up a same appointment and several hours later a technician named Loy came by and immediately diagnosed and fixed the issue.
He then ensured that all the gas appliances were lit and in working order before he left.

Riley, a man FYI, had to come to my house to turn my gas back on because of construction reasons. He was great! Super personable, professional and efficient! If only all of PG&E could be like Riley we would all have more faith! Thanks Riley!

I had a service appointment this morning for an annual check on my gas services. You would think it a standard practice to call the cell phone number on the account when the technician arrives or is about to arrive. Not for PG&E. I was in another part of the house for 5 minutes and came back to a note on my door saying they missed me. No phone call. Now I have to schedule another work-from-home day for a new appointment because the supervisor said the technician could not be told to come right back. 0 Stars if I could.

PG&E sucks - you you created the Kincade Fire!!
how dare you act as if you had no connection to this absolutely devastating fire - this fire has impacted so many people & you all were sloppy!
my sons wedding has now been impacted too in a huge way - you should be accountable & apologetic!
