We needed a new electrical panel box in our home built in 1965. A friend recommended Pfeiffer Family Electric. Gabe came out and provided a very reasonable estimate. He took care of everything, getting the city permit, the PG&E waiver because the panel location doesn't meet standards, coordinating inspections, etc. He and his crew are extremely professional; the only trace of them being on my property was the newly installed panel. Gabe Pfeiffer and his crew did a stellar job! My house was built in 1950 and I had a couple of safety concerns plus a handful of electrical repairs and upgrades that I needed to have done. Gabe was very patient about explaining everything to me in terms I could understand and gave me suggestions with pros and cons for each, to help me make the best decisions about what would be done. Another contractor had recommended several thousand dollars of upgrades and Gabe checked out the list and reassured me that only a couple small issues were safety concerns that should be addressed. I was also planning to order a particular pair of light fixtures that I wanted him to install and he saved me 25% by ordering them for me and passing his discount on to to me. Who does that nowadays!?!! His crew was skilled and professional and cleaned up so well before they left that there was no trace they had been here other than their top quality work. Pfeiffer Family Electric is definitely the way to go if you need electrical work done--I highly recommend them!

Gabe Pfeiffer (son of Jerry) basically rewired my1950s PG house last year. The house had previously never had the benefit of meeting electrical/safety code in any way, and I knew it was dangerous as it was.
Gabe determined correctly that rewiring it all would be less costly than hitting each outlet, lighting fixture, and junction box separately. He had great ideas about doing the kind of lighting I wanted in cost-effective ways.and listened well to my ideas about how baseboard heaters and thermostats should be placed based on use patterns. More bang for the buck! What I continue to like most about him is that he communicates very clearly. Never vague or unclear. In the months since the work was done he has responded promptly and thoroughly to any questions I've had.

I'd give ten stars if possible. Totally professional. Pfeiffer & Son Electric came over promptly after my call to provide a bid. They did a fantastic job consolidating several power panels into one. They started the job quickly, and finished on time as promised. The workers were friendly, and careful to not track dirt into the house. The bill was very reasonable. What more could anyone want? We're very pleased with their work.
